WA in the grip of complacency and apathy

We will probably have to sit in the beer garden because of you and don't forget to bring your bell, so everyone knows you are unvaccinated. :roflmao:
Won't need a bell. I'll be the one with a yellow star ;)

Here's another vid which will be too uncomfortable for everyone to watch:

Big line of cars at the local drive through bottlo yesterday as they were checking vax status before service

So they are using coercive methods to get people to vax up. Seems like a backed by science method.

This is the kind of crap that keeps me from voting for Labor.

I think I saw you going into the bottle shop @Humid, I was wondering where you carry your wallet? Maybe a fanny pack. ?
By the way, nice thongs. :xyxthumbs

No bar service no takeaways must be some in a very dark place at the moment

Bit surprised that take away alcohol was included one way to start a riot I guess, went to a local cafe yesterday felt for the staff hassling to see vax proof.

Having said that I only know one person (personally) not vaxed (no refection on any here but his reasoning is beyond help).

As the state government cannot get staff for hospitals going hard line on vaccinations looks to be 1st line of defence.

Notice the stories for people getting deferred for medical treatment / procedures (due to COVID) now starting to come out in the media in the eastern states so clearly no one is in a position to wear the extra hospital cases.

I don't see an end to this at all plenty of shouting to go yet, did anyone else notice the lack of Australia flags / enthusiasm for Australia day?

From Greg Larsen

Then John Howard came in and did what conservatives always do: whipped up the country into a jingoistic frenzy so we could turn our attention towards “Aussie Values” and get distracted while the big end of town picked our pockets. By the end of the Howard Years in 2007, Australia Day was sort of a thing. It still wasn’t huge, but now in addition to the nerds waving flags, you had some meatheads at Big Day Out wearing them as capes. Only now we pretended it was part of some rich tradition dating back centuries. Which it isn’t.

You are toying with us moXJO. After reading most of your posts on ASF over a period of 15 years, I have come to the conclusion you would not vote for Labor even if hell froze over.

I voted Rudd. After that it was minor parties.
Labor have a tendency to blow up their spot when they are voted in.

But good ideas are good ideas. I have less faith in Labor being able to carry them out though.

Nailed it.
Lets see if this time is any better, at least they have back flipped on the Kurri Kurri power station, that would have been the death knell for them, when blackouts started happening.

Waynes world......
It's called Australia, Humid and fellow Sandgropers
Australia provides the FIFOs that keep the WA mines working.

The biggest single component of the WA economy = GST

You want to secede? ..See ya.. You won't be requiring the Medicare rebate then..for your fully staffed WA hospitals..
