well legally , he is only there for 4 years , HOWEVER would Vance be more of the same if elected in 2028 ( or tougher )I haven't looked at the Australian market for a bit. Trump tariffs might bring along some decent buys assuming Trump is a temporary phenomenon.
I think maga dies with Trump. The Republicans are no different to the democrats, lib/lab situation. They voted for a lot of that usaid funding. So it will scale back. Thats assuming Trump lasts the full term.well legally , he is only there for 4 years , HOWEVER would Vance be more of the same if elected in 2028 ( or tougher )
AND ( unlikely as it is given Trumps age ) there might be 'the Putin Gambit ' where Vance gets elected and takes on Trump as VICE-President
Australia will have to decide it's own destiny ( if we can find a leader with adequate spine .. that includes you , Liberal jellyfish )
it will give Australia some opportunities , if they chose to take them
but will we ?As for Australia this is exactly why I was hoping for a Trump term. We actually have to grow up and accept the fact we are screwed if we don't take control of our own destiny.

The Australian psyche will change. I think more and more people are glitching out of the fantasy that government is doing a good job for the people. How we move forward though... I wouldn't want to be a politician with an angry mob.but will we ?
we might end up like Brexit , all promises and cheering , but undermined at every turn
usually the VP is never heard from; Vance has his head above the parapet and taking the flak from the other bloke.I think maga dies with Trump.
I think Trump was portrayed as the guy who fought the US government. He appeared stoic in his approach and promised things no one else was willing to do. I don't think people see the same in these classic politicians where they put it all on the line. They are disposable.usually the VP is never heard from; Vance has his head above the parapet and taking the flak from the other bloke.

Perception is everything. For me it was about current order trajectory being diverted. If enough people wake up and move to a merit based centre and away from wef- I'm happy with that. As much as I enjoy Trumps antics I'm not a believer.but is he ?
remember he has had periods in the entertainment industry ( pro-wrestling and reality TV ) sure he has some experience in business , as opposed to a parade of failed lawyers ( who often retire into an acting career , also )
so far it looks positive ( but scary ) , but don't forget how Bo-Jo hoodwinked the Brits ( almost completely )
have a plan ready for IF it all falls apart ( in a bad way , not a constructive way )
i remember an old saying in my family
' oh Lord , please save us from saviors ' ( aka be ready to dig YOURSELF out of the hole )
. Not in tune with the market.
I'm usually good in chaos. Coming off a win so I always completely lose tune straight after. Generally my focus shifts to other things. I consume a huge amount of information when I'm in the zone. But I go the other way once I get what I want.Maybe it is the market that is not in tune with the perfectly clear and logical trajectory you calculated for it and it will recognise its wayward track and return to your normal.
Or not.
probably because this is not chaos YET ... disarray with a dozen distractions flying at you at the same time , sureI'm usually good in chaos. But you are right to a degree. I'll see patterns in the market and jump back on again. I do think there's some large ops shaping up.
In far more ways than one.Australia needs a reality check.
XJO is getting absolutely pummeled for whatever you think that's worth.
Long way to go to find out what the market really thinks anyone get on board Euro defence stocks I missed the run up
7,753.68 points is 10% lower from the XJO intra-day record , we aren't there yet but less the 200 points to go that COULD happen next week , but IF it happens where from there rattle around in a channel perhaps ?Meanwhile: XJO absolutely slaughtered today. U.S futures green (just).
Very little is making me feel positive about the foreseeable future.
as a former constituent of Dutton he has never impressed me , but then all he has to do is look better than Albo ( and the Green parrots on his shoulder )Also: We forget that there's an election on here soon. Dutton looks almost certain to win. Take that for whatever you think it's worth.
