September 2023 Stock Competition Entries!

congratulations GG well done

excellent work by the place-getters as well

Joe can we give them both ( 2nd & 3rd ) a Logie for the entertainment value over the month ?

i see @Dona Ferentes made my bargain-hunting desires look pathetic @Sean K as well

but seriously , good fun everyone

and good luck in the October Comp. everyone

also these comps . are good practice for novices learning their strategies ( without burning cash reserves )

and a BIG well done to @debtfree for the graphs , charts and record-keeping

and of course thanks to @Joe Blow , ASF staff and comp. sponsors
Congrats to the top 3 winners. Impressive win.

Oh did you have to mention that / remind me !? Lol oh that time ages ago in a shopping centre walking along & stepped on a fresh green 100 note! - but didn't think of bending down to pick it up so as not to look desperate lol haha 🤣 only for a beautiful woman walking my way to do so lol (gave me a cheeky smile in the process as if to say too bad it's mine now finder's keeper's).

Still waiting for that second chance of seeing another green note on the floor somewhere/anywhere lol haha but guess karma was good to me since as misplaced/lost my wallet, phone & car keys etc. numerous times and have always had them returned back to me (last count 7 times at least lol).
yep, karma and the insights into humans...

wifey and i saw some $100 notes on carpark, blowing around. Stunned, mentioned it to a passer by, and then we all started picking up. The race was on, on hands n knees, under cars, eventually we collected $500, she got $300. We looked around for a claimant, but none to be seen.

It was a Thursday eve, so we went to cop shop, and lodged money as found, with details. Cop behind desk said "likely drug money" though it could have been someone's pay day. No claims so after 30 days, we got the 500.

Easier than picking 5 winners in a share competition!

Way to go DF nice 👍🙂 so true about karma as I've found misplaced iPhone's, wallets & jewellery and have always returned them to their rightful owner (they kindly offer me a reward in return which I politely refuse to accept).

What goes around comes around as they say. Tried to teach my kid's that principle too - don't ever keep something that doesn't belong to you. Be warm, kind, caring and generous towards others treat them the way you'd like to be treated in return.

It's so very true, always be kind n you will be truely rewarded. Like the saying Karma, what goes round comes round.
Have always like to help friends in trouble or in their bad times n guess what..since fracturing my kneecap n no weight bearing on leg, partner is away overseas attending to family matters n me on my own, those people whom I called friends that I have helped are now taking turns coming to visit me with lunches to share n leaving home cooked meals for dinner. I am truely Blessed n what goes round comes around.

Similar scenario with me. A newly made friend of about 18 months recently bought a MF tractor which had a few issues, just minor we thought. I suggested that we leave it at my place and I thought it would take about 4 hours to fix. In total took about 4 days , a couple of hours here and there each day or when time was available. Trucked it to his property Saturday morning. He is now embarrassed that i will not take a payment for the time I spent on it. I just said what are friens for. I have limited knowledge of what was needed to be done, and it now runs like a Swiss watch.

Good evening Rabbito. Glad to see that your great friends are looking after you. Have you locked in a penny dreadful for the October Comp yet?
