Over 260 new COVID cases in WA, one more person in hospital

WA has reported 263 new COVID cases on Tuesday, including 258 local infections and five travel related.

C'mon mate. Leave McGowan alone! He's paying his own quarantine costs. All taxpayers have to pay for are those little tiny defamation legal costs which will probably only be in the low 7s.

While Mr McGowan’s legal costs in his defamation battle with Clive Palmer is being funded by taxpayers, the Premier said he would pay his hotel quarantine bill.

But of course Skidmark doesn't even have to quarantine anymore because of his new rules - yet he's choosing to quarantine anyways? What a stupid wasteful political stunt.
 
The rest of the world ( and the rest of Australia) is opening up, removing restrictions, and mandates.

Meanwhile, the hermit Kingdom is busily creating more restrictions.

The official figures are over 5000 cases today. A bit of lay analysis indicates that it is probably massively greater than that.

Either that or everybody has got a goddamn cold

Yes children from grade 3 up are going to have to wear masks, well it's ok with the Asian kids, today when I picked up the grandkids a mother was giving a little girl a huge serve and it doesn't come in until next week. ?

The dumb thing about this is WA waited so long it will probably infect the rest of Australia again. Then cause more deaths anyway. If all states caught it at roughly the same time then probably less chance of it coming back.
