STX - Strike Energy

Good morning
Since the bad news about SE2 and 3 wells, SP max has been $0.26... To bad how sad ... ): Reckon might be some light at the end of the tunnel, in coming months, hope so, tossed the coin into the air, heads rcw1 wins tails rcw1 fails... cannot have the later happening... Is what it is... :)

Holding

Have a very nice weekend.

Kind regards
rcw1

STX Strike Energy Ltd. No 4 pick in the Yearly Competition. Picked as a roughie with a hint of promise of things to come. Unfortunately, that promise of things to come, headed down hill and unfortunately has stayed in bottom of the pit since that lousy announcement. SP has not improved and would appear to be the company that will be my downfall in this Comp. No ice cream with this one only a sour lemon.

***** MONTHLY UPDATE FOR FULL CALENDAR YEAR 2024 STOCK TIPPING COMPETITION - @debtfree *****

April 2024 - As noted in the previous monthly update on 30th March, the test of the former resistance from the open of 22nd February (and whether it would act as support going forward) was important. Well, that failed. This company continues to disappoint. And then a new low was formed towards the end of the month ($0.195 on 26th April). Some solace for shareholders is the 'bounce' back into 'no man's land' between the 10 and 30 day moving averages towards the end of the month (and an RSI above the average... for now), but not truly convincing until higher highs and higher lows are formed on the chart. Still rated as a dud until proven otherwise. Personal suggestion - avoid.

Good evening farmerge,

And a very late good evening to you also rcw.
STX will be a bonanza one day, just hoping it will be sooner than later.
MY son how has done 20+ years in the Pilbara and is now having a house built in Geraldton reckons STX will be his next and possibly last employer.
He has been showing a lot of interest in the mob in the past few months.

Once again been a long day putting in strainers and struts for a sub division.
Got to call it quits for today, as an early start tomorrow, got 3 fencing jobs to quote on.

Good evening
Huge volume on Friday... Hmmm

Kind regards
rcw1
@rcw1 Perhaps there will be movement in the camp and thus a forward push with the SP to a higher price, Hoping.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news here @rcw1 and @farmerge, but should the share price continue to struggle here, the on-balance-volume (OBV) shown below along with the volume spike from Friday is not boding well if the support level from 6th March ($0.205) doesn't hold. Our dud pick for the Full Calendar Year 2024 Stock Tipping Competition may only get worse in that scenario...

Now shedding crocodile tears on a dud pick.
Though I still think it will contribute sometime in the distant future.

Good evening,
Announcement on 28 May 2024:
  • Total gross income received to date from the Walyering project (brought online 8 months ago) is approximately $47 million;
  • The company highlights that this "payback profile would be one of the fastest in recent history for a greenfield Australian oil and gas project and demonstrates the inherent value of Strike's conventional gas play in the Jurassic aged Sandstones within the Cattamarra Coal Measures."
Dangerous times; a big fish alleged lurking around here.
Holding.

Good morning STX believers .... ha ha ha ha
Announcement today (21/06/24)

Terms agreed with Macquarie Bank for the provision of a 5 year, $153 million financing package which includes:
  • A $60 million facility to refinance $16.3 million of existing drawn debt $43.7million of existing approved but undrawn development facilities;
  • $93 million of new debt to support the development of South Erregulla and West Erregulla contingent on Macquarie internal approvals;
  • The facility is underwritten by the production performance at the Walyering gasfield and demonstrates the lowering of financing costs as Strike’s development portfolio progresses and their risk profiles reduce.
Holding -hit loads...
Missed a swing trade month ago or thereabouts, could have got $0.22 but was stubborn (could be greedy) at $0.225. Might try and sell 100 000 @ $0.23 today.

Have a very nice weekend.

Kind regards
rcw1
