I actually dispatch Indian mynas, but tha Australian miner birds are ok if a bit of bullies
Based on your description/picture, it was the indian myna pest, no big deal

The parent minor birds have stopped squawking so they're over it. A bit too quickly really. This is the second chick they've tossed out of the nest in the past three years that's landed on the deck and most likely been picked up by a cat.

Ended up going to the cricket yesterday arvo for the last session. Bloody hell, hadn't seen a field like this in some time.

Also bought some more FFM this morning at ave $0.9039. No idea how that happened. I might have too much of this now. Unless copper goes gonzo and all will be OK.

Done nothing so far this year. Been holidaying and saving powder.

Spent the past week on the GBR. 3rd or 4th time on Spirit of Freedom, best boat on the GBR, closely followed by Mike Ball.

Anyone telling you the coral is dead, has an agenda.

Added a few VGS at around $141, ave now around $128, from the Q Club in Cairns. While ducati is still scaring the crap out of me, the market might stay irrational a little longer under The Donald.

Added more VGS today, now 13% of the stock holdings.

Have spent some time in the ETF world today, thinking about what general equity ETF I should add, but nothing jumps out at me. Maybe a Vanguard diversified growth ETF but they're all pretty boring. Would rather allocate a few K to some specs that might go gonzo, or fail. I've managed to pick all the loser specs over the past couple of years, mostly due to not reading the bigger picture. But, just need one to go nuts that will make up for that.

Still 75% cash.

Open holdings up 3%.

Not sure if it’s a trading instrument Capt? Are you holding as a long term play?
I tell my crew that "Long Term" is merely an expression of "Wishful Thinking"
"Medium Term" is also an expression of "Wishful Thinking"
Nobody can see into the Future!

I tell them they are Dreaming!

Yes! I am a Dreamer! Too

I just try to get off to a Good Start and then let the Trend tell whether it is Medium or Long Term or NOTHING
It's as Simple as That

Salute and Stay Well

Pretty quiet here at SK Trading. Just been dropping in when I can.

I've spent the past week in Geelong doing a uni intensive on Leadership and Management in High Performance Sport, part of a Masters in Sports Science. I'm doing it for fun and enjoying it. We got to spend a day at the Cats facilities with the High Performance Team and they came out to dinner with us which was pretty cool.

If I was 33 years younger and at the crossroads again - Sport or Army - I'd probably still choose Army, even though it changed me in many ways, for good and bad.

1992 was one of those sliding doors moments for me. I was an Exercise Physiologist in a great health centre in Brisbane and had also applied to Duntroon just to see what might happen. I miraculously got in to RMC and thought, bloody hell, do I move from 24 degrees beautiful winter Brisbane working at a great health centre surrounded by palm trees, or go to Canberra in -6 degree mornings being yelled at by a drill sergeant and sleeping in a pit.

I chose the pit, filled with water that turned to ice around 4am.

If I had chosen sport, I severely doubt I would be sitting in my very nice apartment in Fitzroy, watching the sun set over Melbourne, and not needing to work at age 55.

And, I can't forget the friends I made in the Army who are like brothers to me and always will be.

Sorry, this is a trading blog.

I can't believe I didn't triple down on gold two years ago when I had some conviction.

Has it been the best trade of the past 2 years?

Good sun set tonight.

I hear you. Family and friends is the answer. And, I can walk to the G.

Discounting physical coins, the portfolio is crap.

I'm going to go up to Nth QLD with a Minelab Gold Monster in search off GG's hidden stash.

I hope you remember your military skills ....

The perimeter is secured.... and Minelab works in minefields . I believe.
