I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong section.

I am learning trading as a hobby. I don't trade with real funds as of yet and I don't plan to any time soon. It purely gets me away from the business and gives me something to do that I've always been interested in.

I signed up for some charting software and am trying to learn how to trade based on volumes. My software allows me to import indicators, and I was chasing what is called a VPOC & KVT indicator.

I did try to google these and only really found information relating to the indicators rather than any code to import. The software is ProRealtime.

I understand several of you are full time traders so I don't want to waste your time. Any information will help.

AFAIK, ProRealTime will allow you to look at the code for such indicators. I haven't used IG for a while, but if you go to indicators and then click around you'll see the underlying code. Not sure what language they use.

I'll give it another look and see if the code is available. On their website they don't have the code, was hoping another resource did. Unless it goes by a different name there.

The only reason I need it is so when watching a webinar or reading some information I can follow it visually - it helps me learn :)

VPOC looks like the same as 'volume-at-price' (aka market profile).

Amibroker has a formula for this. Do you have AB?
