Woop's! missed out on a entrie for this months compatition, & I would have liked to of placed TAM Tanami Gold NL. I would of picked that one for the results & I feel Investers may like to know about it. https://www.aussiestockforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3772
Stands out much like AUM & may make or break but at least it would take over the mint! well worth 2 years. (subscription)

Nah- just kidding, the stock has split to 5 shares, so it's really only moved from 80 to 79c... in my defence I didn't back a dog.

AUM will commence trading today using the new stock code CDU (CUDECO). This will affect Canny's entry for the month.

Congrats to both kgee and Maltese Bull for taking out first and second place in the July competition!

kgee ended up extending his lead, finishing up the month with a return of 112.07% on his selection FCN! A fantastic effort! Maltese Bull roared over the finishing line in second place on CAZ with a 37.29% return! Very well done indeed! Rounding out the top five were clowboy, scsl and powww with returns of 26.96%, 25.49% and 23.53% with their selections PYM, MMN and LOD respectively! A hearty congrats to you all!

Well there you go!1 It was 'in the bag' on July 5th!!! I made a motza from it though, and I'm still holding a good amount of core stock, then do an odd trade (at least 2 a week for 10% plus) so it's been VERY kind to me.
I still think they'll bounce back high again, but not game to take it in the comp for August!!

Nope- can't say I did.
CPK is a stock I was interested in back in Feb. I thought is was super cheap at the time (PE of ~3.5) but haven't padi muich attention to it since... just thought it'd be a good defensive stock... I was wrong.

Exactly, I was not game to buy the sh*thouse stock I tipped for July, I just thought it was so cheap and crappy it could double. I was very wrong but I lose nothing.

MTN for August on the other hand, well I do own some. So losses are real, but I know there was a takeover offer at 68 cents, so I can not lose much (hopefully)

Kipp, I own a lot more than $10k worth of stock, but it's still volatile and anything could happen.
Prefer the ann that JPR has just put out for an August good looker!!
The comp is about month long trading %age increase, my portfolio is about real profits, and I don't necessarily hold them all month - and often intend to hold for several months to see the right return.
