@UMike Hrmph, might be main thing to you, I'm down $340 bucks. To me it has no value as I only get squeezed up sh*ty charts on my samsung galaxy phone. That being my only current device.

Yo @finicky , I also looked into trading view, but I went via the link that is on Joe blows first post in this thread.
It says sign up through ASF and get a 15 discount on your first subscription.
Going via this link higlights a free 30 day trial on the top right hand corner.
Perhaps that is the link you chose?
I signed up to give it a trial, but I have not been charged anything on my credit cards.

I can't remember giving my Visa card details which makes me wonder if a giant organization like TradingView can get it from another source and maybe that's why it was flagged as a possible scam by Commbank.

I'd be inclined to try and get the money back from Tradingview. @finicky . Just ask them straight out explaining what happened. If that doesn't work I'd get Commbank and Consumer Affairs on to it.

Have a 'ticket' in their support process. Will take a while. No complaints so far in this as they've updated me today by auto response.
Sorry to have made this a big deal - I think I was mostly set off by Commbank alerting to possible Visa card scam, got an adrenaline pump in the wee hours, together with not expecting a charge. I've been hit by a Visa scam before and have a friend who had few means but was relieved of even those by scammers (so called 'affiliate marketing')

@farmerge I'm starting to think not.

I reviewed the link to Tradingview at the start of this thread in Joe Blow's intro and it doesn't mention a free trial at all, just a $15 discount.
Then on the Tradingview website subscription page it also doesn't mention a free trial it says, "it's like 60 days free" (see snapshot).
I just saw what I wanted to see after faffing around and getting frustrated. "Haste makes waste", a blunder by me
