Happy said:Can wine age in bottle too?
Tonight I learned that after 2 glasses of wine I could not taste any difference between a glass of $2/bottle no name wine and a $45 bottle.
Do I have a poor taste in wines or does it not really matter what your drinking after the first 2.
cab sav - do you like st hugo cab sav ? i think its a ripper of a wine. a bit too expensive for every day drinking, but a good one to put away and save for a special occassion.
question is, where exactly do you get $2 bottles of wine from!?
I am a cocktail barman. Have been for many years.
One day a customer was drinking Jimmy & coke. He had about half a bottle in approx 90 mins, and was getting a bit loud and crude. So for the next few drinks I served him straight coke and told him the drinks where on me. He did not notice the difference.
If you cannot taste the diff between a $2 bottlecrap
and the good stuff thats great. Just stick to the tramp juice and leave the good stuff to the ones that can.
