I made an error there - that was the AX-200 which launched in Y2K20 October 1987 was supposed to be a 515.5 point (25%) fall.

At 1500 it will be even lessIf anyone's after a silver lining: If a stock has dropped 5% for each of two days in a row, the dollar difference isn't as high as yesterday!

I have not checked thoroughly but today may have been the largest intraday movement for a very long time at 650 points, and I think we are hard pressed to find a 32% range within 3 weeks of trading.I can not recall anything like today but maybe was not focussed enough at the time

Not sure little Aussie will be able to help much today after the 12pc fall in the USA..
