Victorian Politics

[/QUOTE]
Well it seems to me that if true, it would be all over the Internet. I can't find anything on gooogle or any of the socials. Just trying to find the truth of the matter.

Is it.... could it be possible.... that he was lying?
I searched, see above.
Look I know you want the Liberal Party to be an extreme right organisation but they have in history always represented a broad church of people.
You need at least half the population to vote for you to get in. Look at the NSW libs and Tassy Libs.

They don't go for this anti woke tribal nonsense like Victorian Libs do and they have been very successful.

First thing Pesutto needs to do is get rid of far right anti gay anti women, anti trans, anti whatever amd become a pro party again.

The first election they lost they targeted the African community, the second the injecting room. They didn't follow Liberal principles of not raising debt, they actually promised to spend more than Labor.

John Pesutto will wipe Andrews out if he is allowed to attack him on debt corruption and provide a plan. If as keeps happening members of his party keep doing stupid tribal stuff, he won't get in. We aren't the USA. Everyone votes and you can't rig the seats.

Oh FFS, here we go again. Stop casting aspersions based on total lies.

I can't count how many times I've spoken in favour of Classical Liberalism for the Liberal Party. Look it up.

It is not extreme right. In fact it is socially centre left, economically centre right.

Yes, well you can see he has to stop some of the idiots in the party. They have been infiltrated.

Disappeared. Here it is again.

Was this a take on "feminazi"?
Do we know the context?

I know a few instances where people were being called "Nazi" so often for minor things that they embraced stupid symbolism to further enrage wokes.

Not defending her as haven't taken much interest.

Maybe, she is making a good living out of it.

I also found it weird that "visual nazis" rocked up to a "feminazi" event. Then proceeded to throw out the symbols that were a completely different level then what was discussed.

From what I understood, this was about women only spaces not being infiltrated by "men in womanface".

I find the whole thing weird and being engineered by multiple hatred groups that are now overlapping.

If anything the nazis were probably trying to discredit the feminists who are now exposed as being not so much about "equality".
It's all just super weird.

It's really just a far right group hug.
The neo Nazis did the salute to the trans women. They must have been let in as they had a strong security contingent to stop protestors.

Yes and let's ban the communists too, shall we?

I'm telling you the whole thing is weird.

I'm not sure if this is a legitimate twitter, but some journalists were quoting it

A deeper dive into the politics around Posie Parker. She does have some serious form in her anti trans interviews. Worth checking out Bridget Archer , Liberal Tasmanias' perspective. On the money.
Essentially if the Liberal party in Victoria attempt to keep supporting strident anti Trans voices they will stay unelectable.

Well let's ignore the toxic framing from the ABC, here is a recent long form interview if you want to get a tag on what this woman is about.

This is from a few years ago

And a more recent one:

Let's talk about the facts

Let's be clear: This activist isn't having a fact-based debate about the participation of trans women in elite sport — those debates are ongoing and necessary. This week, for instance, World Athletics voted to ban transgender women from elite female competitions if they have undergone male puberty, in a decision the governing body said had been taken to "protect the future of the female category".

There will be different views about the significance of that decision and its impacts but that's not what Keen-Minshull and her allies are concerned with. Rather, they are challenging the very existence of trans people.

Liberal MP Bridget Archer told me this week that rally organisers had "almost stopped pretending that it's about women's rights and they are openly saying that it is an anti-transgender protest".

Liberal MP Bridget Archer says the "most unsafe place for women to be is in their own homes".(ABC News: Luke Bowden)
"If they want to talk about women's safety, I don't think that the issue of ... same-sex bathrooms is where the issue of women's safety is at," she said. "The most unsafe place for women to be is in their own homes."

Archer added: "In terms of safety, the transgender community have much higher rates of violence perpetrated against them than even women do, so I think it's just nonsense."

Excellent story on the ABC discussing the history of transgender people. Covers a lot of history and many cultures

In 2014, transgender actress Laverne Cox was on Time Magazine's front cover, with a headline heralding "the transgender tipping point".
She's one of countless transgender people who have stepped into the public eye in recent years to fight for an equal place in society.
Some of their names are familiar: Olympian Caitlyn Jenner, actor Elliott Page, activist Chelsea Manning.

The Schill goes running

"It's a quick visit, but a really important opportunity for us to impress upon all of our partners in China … that Melbourne is open, Victoria's open, that the Chinese economy and Chinese community, business, our partners, are very, very important to us," he said.

So Melbourne and Victoria are for sale, special discount for China. Is the debt situation that dire that he has to go brown nosing?
