Na not really. It's the political timing I don't like. This election has shades of fascism.
He was stupid to attack the Sandy Hook parents the way he did. He left himself open and then got spanked with a lawsuit that will hover over him the rest of his life.

Just on the Sandy hook thing, it is beyond doubt that Alex Jones f***** up big time with that one, bad juju.
The judgment of over a billion dollars in my opinion is absolutely ridiculous beyond on comprehension and absolutely a political hit job (as we have seen with several other cases lately).
Should he have been judged some sort of punitive damages against him? Most certainly, but over a billion dollars is absolutely loony land stuff.
There's an overreach on some of the claims from both sides. They keep telling me it's "only a handful of cases" despite the fact I had severe inflammation of the heart lining myself and have met a dozen that have had bad reactions.
There were studies previous to covid that show mrna had these risks. In SA I know there was a court case where they found the employer at fault for forcing the jab. That person had a sever reaction and couldn't work. Workers compensation then wouldn't payout. Obviously there was more to it.
But I am seeing unsubstantiated claims with what the vaccine is doing. It's too early to say they won't be proven in time but it won't help the debate. But it's coming from one of three places:
For money.
People making claims of any sort will attempt to profit from it.
For muddying the waters.
The rapid dissemination of misinformation on social media has led to widespread public confusion. It is then used by either side as a propaganda tool. Similar to what bas and 2000 mules has done. One side has been caught out in one specific case lie. The whole premise that ballot harvesting happened is then thrown out. 2000 mules was also a money grab telling people what they wanted to hear at the exact time it was running hot. All for quick cash. Does this mean ballot harvesting didn't happen? No it doesn't. We just have multiple bad actors and it's harder to expose the truth.

There's a difference between being open minded or being lazy and a "true believer".
The truth is so lost these days and can flipped by so many people that it's almost impossible to know what actually happened. However when you have cascading incidents. All pointing to the fact something bad is being done. Be curious and dig. Debate and be vocal. Doesn't matter what side, doesn't matter if you are wrong. Everyone learns.
My opinion is we are being fed and have always been fed lies from every quarter. I do believe Trump 2016 and 2020 were needed. Not because of some loyalty to Trump but because he (not by design) exposed the US government, media, Hollywood and various world bodies for what they were. Enough people started questioning everything.
He's broken now and the critical time has passed imo. RFK makes some of the right noises. I just don't think he is proven enough to be able to fight at the presidential level. I don't want Biden to win or it's war with Russia or China.
I'm wondering if the people have already lost at this point.
Yeah it was a ridiculous amount. But this is the thing when you are playing with a stacked deck. Lawfare will kill you. It's political theatre not about fair and just outcomes.
He thought he was protected by freedom of speech to a degree. He should have been smarter.
I'd argue that Elon musk will be a big scalp. They already interfered with his bonus payout and have been hitting him heavily. Only a matter of time imo.

Nothing to do with political timing the low life has run the case out until now it has been his actions that have delay the payments.
Stupid no way it was absolutely thought out and targeted with extreme right wing nutters hunting down parents with death threats and destroying lives Jones got off lightly he is a good example of bringing back burning people at the stake... seriously.

Can argue both sides. The there was a specific change in the courts prior to the election. Ballot harvesting is what got the dems over the line. It's legal in a lot of states.Republican gerrymander certainly was

When it comes to the likes of Jones absolutely, if you ever read the accounts from the Sandy Hook killings it's beyond heart wrenching.
Have to admit I've only heard snippets of Jones stuff on that matter. I haven't really gone in depth over why or what he said.
Regardless, the timing sticks in me like a thorn.
