China already prohibits major US social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and even LinkedIn. China has either banned these platforms outright or made it so difficult for them to operate that it’s not worth the trouble.

China doesn’t even have TikTok!

Instead, ByteDance offers a separate app in China called Douyin, which predates TikTok. They’re both short-form video platforms but with key differences, including aggressive political censorship and usage restrictions for children on Douyin.

Douyin also ties into China’s massive e-commerce ecosystem. This is one reason it’s amazingly profitable, as you’d expect. TikTok is not. If it can’t turn a profit with 150 million US users, perhaps profit is not the motivation.
 
I was going to put forward that I thought a "terrorist attack" was imminent last week but got wrapped up in other stuff. Seems it hit Russia which was an odd choice
 
I'd expect another one in the West. There seems to be a stronghold out of a problem area in Afghanistan. They got ground out during the US occupation to around half the numbers. Seems to be bouncing back a bit.

I suspect this is part of the reason the US weapons were left in the numbers they were.

They were all from Tajikistan allegedly. After 9/11 I'm sure the US was heavily involved there.

It was a hotbed of CIA activity so the comment isn't as far fetched as first it seems. But then they Russians might know that people will put that together and the story is for their own propaganda purposes. Who knows.

Russia has suddenly become the victim and its taken focus off Ukraine. Russia is pushing a lot of propaganda to make Putin look like a strong leader lately. Eyeballing social media, it seems to be working.

Heard they chopped the guys ear off and fed it to him. Another photo of one of them with his nuts wired up to a battery. Eye popped out. You never want to go through a Russian interrogation.

These guys ain't Isis otherwise they would have martyred themselves.

Well we are on the verge of World war 3. It looks like Ukraine will be inducted into NATO and Hezbollah and Iran looks to be getting involved in the Israel skirmish


There is also some eschatological theories bouncing around social media with regards to the upcoming eclipse and whatnot.

To be honest I think he world war three concerns are more likely if anything is going to happen.
