Yes even though I really wanted to join the police as a teenager, because I loved riding motorbikes and they had the latest fastest bikes, I knew I didn't have the right personality to put up with DH's.
So I became a tradie, you can tell you're mate and everyone else exactly what you think, plus you don't get shot when doing your job. :xyxthumbs

Reminds me of the Tasmanian railway bridge "bomb" just before the 1993 federal election.

It was never conclusively proven to my knowledge but it was made to appear as the work of an environmental group, environmental campaign signage was attached to the bridge along with the explosives, but general consensus was the opposite is true, it was an attempt by others to discredit environmentalists. The bomb was half real - crude explosives but no detonator and no actual explosion occurred.

Given the timing the motivation was generally taken to be purely political. :2twocents

So, I am sure we all remember that bloke Epstein who ran the pedophile Ring for the Rich and famous on an Island in the US Virgin islands.
Recently, the US Virgin islands settled with the Epstein Estate for $105 million.

Epstein’s estate – as well as two co-defendants and 10 Epstein-created entities – will disburse over $105 million cash to the US Virgin Islands government, US Virgin Islands Attorney General Denise George said in a statement on Wednesday.
The estate will also sell two private islands, Little St. James and Great St. James, to independent third parties to conclude its settlements, the statement from George’s office says.

“This settlement restores the faith of the People of the Virgin Islands that its laws will be enforced, without fear or favor, against those who break them. We are sending a clear message that the Virgin Islands will not serve as a haven for human trafficking,” said George.
“Through this lawsuit and settlement, the Attorney General’s Office, acting on behalf of the Government, is using its authority to enforce the laws of the Virgin Islands against criminal enterprises and to protect public safety.”
George had previously sued the Epstein estate for allegedly using a system of private planes, helicopters, boats and vehicles to bring young women and girls to his island residence on Little St. James. There, the victims were “deceptively subjected to sexual servitude, forced to engage in sexual acts and coerced into commercial sexual activity and forced labor,” the lawsuit said.
The settlement ends Epstein’s estate’s ownership of properties in the US Virgin Islands and certifies the islands can’t be used for illicit purposes by Epstein associates, the statement continues. Half of the proceeds from the sale of Little St. James will also go to the US Virgin Islands government, the statement says.

Although no one else has been arrested for abusing under age girls and/or boys, the US Virgin Islands got something nice.

Now comes the good part.
The same Denise George who had extracted the settlement millions from the Epstein estate, went after Epstens Bankers , J. P. Morgan.

The US Virgin Islands is suing the bank JPMorgan Chase, accusing it of helping Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking of women and girls, according to a lawsuit filed in federal court in New York.

The documents submitted by the US Virgin Islands’ (USVI) attorney general accuse JPMorgan of “turning a blind eye” to illegal activities committed by Epstein – a client of the bank – on his private island, Little St James, which is part of the Caribbean US territory.


The USVI attorney general, Denise George, said the bank should have known about the financier’s crimes and should have reported them as part of anti-money laundering laws.

“JPMorgan knowingly, negligently and unlawfully provided and pulled the levers through which recruiters and victims were paid and was indispensable to the operation and concealment of the Epstein trafficking enterprise,” the lawsuit states according to reports. “Human trafficking was the principal business of the accounts Epstein maintained at JPMorgan.”

Almost immediately, the unfortunate Denise George gets fired for not telling her boss about the lawsuit.

The attorney general of the US Virgin Islands was ousted from her role just days after she filed a lawsuit accusing JPMorgan Chase of facilitating Jeffrey Epstein's sex-trafficking scheme, The Virgin Islands Consortium first reported.

Denise George filed the lawsuit without telling Virgin Islands Governor Albert Bryan first, the local paper reported. Bryan confirmed he removed George from her job, saying in a statement: "I thank her for her service to the people of the territory during the past four years as attorney general and wish her the best in her future endeavors."

The lawsuit, which was filed on December 27, alleges JPMorgan "knowingly facilitated, sustained, and concealed the human trafficking network operated by Jeffrey Epstein," and "financially benefitted" from those actions, Insider's Jacob Shamsian previously reported.

The lawsuit alleged the massive financial institution "turned a blind eye" to Epstein's crimes for more than 10 years "because of the deals and clients that Epstein brought and promised to bring to the bank."

So, who does not believe that US president did not lean on the Governor to dump the case and its chief litigant.
We will really know for sure if the case is just quietly forgotten, rather than still being litigated.

Physical servers with physical wires attached to physical computers which can be physically unplugged from the internet seem to be disappearing very quickly as executives, managers, and IT people get conned. We're also seeing the likes of Microsoft and other software companies pushing the subscription/online models for software, you can't buy anything outright anymore, and all your files are saved in the cloud. I think within a few years we're going to be in a situation where you won't be able to use a computer or smartphone without an active internet connection to continually check your 'subscription' status, verify security, and whatever other blah blah blah reasons Epstein's mate comes up with. The risk is only increasing to businesses, governments, and society.

When the internet fails, I wonder how people are going to use their bitcoin, shares, NFTs, and gold to pay for a coffee? This is why it's good to always have a little physical cash handy.

John F Kennedy Jnr (killed in plane crash in 1999) sends out a tweet saying Anthony Albanese (still alive) has been executed by the Australian Army (exactly who ?) on the orders of Queen Diana (died in 1997)

Why would one ever take anything said by these people seriously ?

Do people actually believe it, or is it just one giant p1ss take. That's the real conspiracy.

Mika's brother and Partner at McGuireWoods was nominated by Barack Obama to be ambassador to Sweden during the then ignored Iran sanctions that connect directly to the Clintons, their Foundation & Ericsson. Richard Cullen - Godfather to James Comey's daughter is Senior Partner at the firm and was hired by Mike Pence during the Russia probe.

James Comey's daughter - Maureen Comey who defended Osama Bin Laden's spokesman was heading up the Violent and Organized Crime unit in the Southern District of New York (SDNY). She was one of the federal prosecutors leading the criminal case against Ms. Ghislaine Maxwell.
