@rcw1 I am still watching and waiting to see if putting some hard earned up against Strike will be a benefit to me in the short term.
Not even the bloke in the mirror is having much input into this at the moment.

STX was my tip in the tipping competition but I don't see it there

To qualify for the monthly competition you must post in the thread of your entry to comply with Rule #3.

3. Either before or after posting your entry and before the deadline for entries you must post in the forum thread of the stock you have entered providing either a general update or a view on why you think the share price is going to increase in the short term.

I have given you another 48 hours to comply with this rule. Let me know if you have any questions.

My reason for tipping STX is that I hope a takeover eventuates

OK, I have added you to the March competition but please do this automatically every time you enter. It's not ideal having a lot of off topic posts in stock threads.

So the SP nudged down to $0.165 ... today (07/03/25) Hmmmmmmmm

Could well drop below deck of $0.16 in fact all the signals now seem to point towards that happening. Got plenty of skin in this game.

Sent an email to Jill today so if she or her delegate reads it, could have good ol giggle ... but felt better sending it, anyways, patience now running very thin ...

Do note that the energy sector had a poor day today on ASX:

Good morning Jill [Hoffmann- Acting CEO]

I hold STX shares and I believe in this company.

Share prices go up and they go down. It’s a given, and I understand there are many variables which contribute adversely or not towards a company share price. I also image that you and the Board are hyper vigilant on company performance and accountabilities. Having said this I would appreciate any advice from you, on when you consider the STX Share price will move away from current resistance levels onto a SP value which is more consistent with STX intrinsic value.

I would appreciate any response to my query.
Have a very nice weekend.

The lack of announcements out of the company is very disappointing

yes indeed so...
Couple things rattling around the rcw1 noggin ... BoD not buying, could mean many things... but maybe just maybe confidential talkies happening ... over a few loose ends ... takeover rumour number 400 ... dunno...

Certainly lacking somewhat in transparency, complicated by Stuart Nicholls leaving after 8 or so years .. and the company hanging their hat on former Woodside executive Jill Hoffmann and a review to be led by deputy chairman Nev Power ha ha ha ha ha ... cracks rcw1 up ...

anyways rcw1 is a STX believer... Plenty skin in this one. We will soon see what will transpire...

kind regards

I too am a believer there is money to be made from Waylering and getting the peaker online is a must, these are the base line for the company and can fund some of the other options they have. Even if there is no take over/merger on the table, STX can become a very profitable gas explorer/producer.
