Stock data information provider?

Anyone can give me information on stock data information provider
who offer API (Application Programmer Interface) call so I can use
in a program I write for personal use to retrieve company data and work
on it.

This is purely for personal use.

I have it as part of the pulse platform but haven't had a need for it yet. However, at a quick glance it allows one to copy search results to the clipboard so you can paste it elsewhere but it doesn't appear to have API or even DDE functionality.

Yeah I dont mind paying a few hundred or thousand a year for data subscription
if it has the data I want and provide a proper API interface.
