September 2023 Stock Competition Entries!

Today's Chart Update ........ Yes, only early days

2 Tips - @Craton PVE is showing 0.00% in the Chart but in the Comp Ladder is -4.00% ............. @noirua BUX is showing -3.03% in the Chart but in the Comp Ladder is 6.67%
So a bit of difference but nothing I can do about it so for these two, please check the ladder for your correct %
Must not have had any stock traded on the last day of last month as both have cut across the chart once there was some sales on Friday.
Didn't reset at 0 along with all others so their % will be out in the chart this Month so remember to look at the Comp Ladder to the right in the Chart for your correct position and correct % for the Month.

Overall, a good start to the Competition.

So when you start the competition at 36 and are elevated to no 1 on the first day you could surely surmise you may have peaked to soon. I can only imagine what it may feel like to be hanging on for grim life to the lift cable at the top of the lift shaft. If I am not courteous enough to pass the time of day with everyone on the way down please forgive me.
I am guessing the air will move quite swiftly around me however when @Garpal Gumnut passes me travelling swiftly in the opposite direction, as PEN gains its obvious, inevitable, upward momentum.

All the best

@Sean K How is it that neither of us selected SXG this month?

I went for an old dog with fleas, although I did think it had a flea bath recently. You went for the newest dog on the block.

I thought those two SXG holes with visible gold were going to be announced this month too, but I no way expected that overall assay result. All the other anns leading up to this were pretty negative to me so I lost faith.

Lucky I was actually watching the screen this morning and bailed CHN at $3.10. I was pretty sure it was all an overreaction, but.... The CHN reaction might be a larger and wider comment on how the market is feeling towards projects requiring massive capex.

yeah, well, thanks for nothing, although I'm looking forward to swapping a few tales, in the basement. My tip WYX West Yilgarn has a "bunch of targets at its Julimar West project, right next door to Chalice's Julimar", and has dropped in sympathy.

at least i didn't have any money on it, only pride.

Unfortunately we are tied to the fortunes of China and the US of A. I really cannot see what all the kerfuffle is about the recession. I have rellies on 4 continents and all seem to be doing well. However it is very gloomy in the USA tonight with 29 minutes to their open after a holiday yesterday.

I guess one of my reasons for picking PEN is that it is such a dog, all proper stocks picked will fall while PEN nutters on other forums will keep it floating in its malodorous sea.

Can I double down?

I put a bit of money on this at the same time as this comp started but was forced out on a stop.

I still think someone will time this better than me.

Will be interesting to see how the month unfolds.
Sean just hoping that the previous tennants of the basement have refurbished the rough red paint stipper that the cellar dweller may require in the coming days, weeks.
