September 2022 Stock Competition Entries!

Blaming the first horse out of the gates I might end up running last with LNR.

Yes I noticed there's a few of you rushing down to try and take the cleaning duties off @finicky :roflmao:. His clever tactics with his post the other day has sucked a few tipsters in :xyxthumbs;):roflmao:.

?a consolation prize of $50 to be instated for last place. This might encourage more participants.
Edit: retrospective to September

fun question ..

has anyone won the comp. by finishing with a zero gain ( and zero loss )

just asking 'cos those green shoots are getting fewer

good luck everyone

There has always been a Winner in the Positive territory in all the years of the Comp. Remember, if you don't make it into the positive there is no prize money for you :(.
@RichKid was the smallest winner in 2005 with 4%, with 2nd & 3rd in the negative. Other small winners are shown below.

Yea it is PNV. Sorry for the mix up.
I saw the initial pvn post but the the PNV (correct as it was supposed to be my tip) in the Excel chart. So I thought it was all sorted.

Only pvn I can see is on the LSE.

Congratulations to qldfrog, Sdajii and TLS for taking out the top three spots in the September 2022 stock tipping competition! :xyxthumbs

qldfrog finished in first place with an impressive 24.93% return with PLS in what has been a very difficult month! In second place was USdajii who achieved a respectable 21.69% with AGY. Rounding out the top three for September was TLS who selected CKA, which returned a solid 17.95%.

Can qldfrog, Sdajii and TLS please contact me via PM regarding their prizes. Please note I will be away from the PC tonight so any reply may be delayed.

Best of luck to all in the October competition! If you haven't entered already then you have until midnight on Sunday to do so! :xyxthumbs

No good spirits about it. Mr. Frog is dead to me. I will spend my $50 buying materials to create a new, improved and more effective voodoo doll.

Haha, jokes aside, one thing I did mean when I said it earlier in this thread was that if QLDFrog took first place I'd be very happy to be second. He's a top bloke and it was fun to have some jokes with him along the way and take out #1 and #2 together. I'm fairly good at taking out second place in this game - first place is great at eluding me! I agree that it's funny for #1 and #2 to be taken out by people with our political views, using companies which go against them! Haha, but I guess we understand the reality that regardless of how little sense the narrative makes, the narrative does exist and there is no shortage of people dutifully obeying, and so we might as well make money from the reality which exists.

Well done to TLS, and everyone who managed a positive result in this challenging month. The graph nicely shows the ugly reality of how bearish it got. Those graphs really illustrate the competition very well every month, thanks to the Black Moore for making them for us all.

@Sdajii rub rub it in mate ?
Amazing that 2 of the conspiracy men of the forum finish first and second this month ,even worse playing the woke and Reset favoured green economy pipe dream minerals.
Can we choose Pfizer next month? ?
Many thanks to the sponsor ,,@debtfree ,@Joe Blow and the other participants

if you are going to be like that .. i am going to regret picking WHC or NHC for this month

but anyway congratulations the qldfrog and the place-getters

i have been watching my performance this year , and am coming to a disturbing conclusion , am i really a closet fund manager .. because 'sell in May and go away , come back on St. Leger's day ' ... is close to my results so far ( all i need is the 20% out-performance fee to really inspire me )

good luck in October everyone

Can I too offer a belated congratulations to the Winners of the September Comp. The top two make a formidible team made obvious by their jostling.
Perhaps to be known in the future by their obvious nom de plume............"The Edibles"...........Sorry no.... I could never do that to a Frog.....particularly a zappy one in a beret. ;);)

I am just green with envy ??.......don't take any notice ?? ;)

You guys are off to the races this month too...all the best

bux
