I think Commsec and a few other sites might have the closing price for CKA wrong yesterday ...

- unless there was a trade not reflected made after 3:34 pm ....
- doesn't really matter for the purpose of this comp ...

Looking at Incredible Charts it has a closing price at 0.24 but I think the difference is to do with if it includes the Chi-X Australia trades or not.

When I look at stocknessmonster.com site I see the data from the ASX CKA last traded at 0.24

whereas when I click onto Chi-X it's last trade was 0.245

So I'd say Commsec includes Chi-X

If the Competition ladder included the Chi-X data , yes @TLS you would be leading the Comp but it must get it's prices from the ASX. Sorry mate . PLS's price is the same on both.

- I think this is just an anomaly ... or have never noticed it before even though I've been checking daily for many many years ...

So far (and there goes September? ) the comp has been going well. And no entry is carrying a 10% loss :

• current competition has 34 entries.
• There are 23 positive tips, 7 negative tips and 4 break-even tips.
• 67.65% of all entries are currently returning a profit.

Competition to have one less Trading Day to decide placings. It seems likely that 22 Sept will see the ASX closed, as it has been declared a Public Holiday.

I forgot to mention @TLS, should you need it ..... you can check previous day's Close prices between ASX v Chi-X. (In the website stocknessmonster.com that I mentioned)

Put your ASX Code in and Select the Company's Name, this will bring up a daily Chart, some Price and Volume data and also the last 10 Trade transactions from the ASX.
To the right click on Chart (after green circle) / then change Line Type to Open High Low Close Bars / change Range to 1 Month. Now you can see the previous months Close prices from the ASX.

To view previous Close prices from Chi-X ..... above the Chart - click on "Click here" to view data from Chi-X Australia / to the right, click on Chart again and this will show Chi-X price bars for the last month.
