Donald Trump trial: Jury deliberations begin as former president appears pessimistic outside court

The former president once again repeated his claim the trial is "rigged" and posted on social media as the 12-person jury began their decision-making.

Trump is facing 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in connection with an alleged scheme to bury stories ahead of his 2016 presidential campaign.

It relates to reimbursements paid to Trump's then lawyer Michael Cohen after he made a $130,000 (£102,000) payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels who claimed to have had a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006.

There's no way he can be found anything but guilty under the judges direction on each charge.
Interesting to see what happens in the aftermath.

Trump was pursued and unfairly treated by the Democratic law officials in New York and it is arguable that he was denied justice and wrongly convicted.

They never chased the Clintons who could be indicted for similar chicanery.

Come on GG Republicains appointed a full time prosecutor to go after Bill (White Water development) that's how all this started.

Considering how big a shonks they were the really big surprise was all they found was Monica.

Trump is a criminal beyond doubt.
 
Rather odd the attorneys pursuing Trump seem to be equity appointees based on skin colour, but getting their orders from white Boss man in the oval office ...... you'd think they'd be able to run their own race after ~160 years of legal emmancipation
