That IVA tip was very impressive Pav
Based on something other than hope - a good setup
perfect timing and it just launched.
Hope you and others here have money in it.

Thanks mate. Small position. Great return on it. Looking the goods at this stage.

GPT running 7th in the competition with a loss, since the start of the month, of only 4.11%. Tough month.

This month must rate as something close to an all-time record? Average result across all tippers so far is -13%?
But for the spectacular 100%+ leader, it would equate to an average of about -15.3%.

Perhaps there's a few worse ones in the archive, but what this tells me is that the age of the small-cap mining explorer is dusted.

I'm pretty sure the three (3) times that I have taken out the competition I didn't pick a small cap miner or exploration stock. :)

Correction: On the three (3) occasions that I have finished in the top three positions of the ASF Stock Tipping Competition ( Two wins and one second) I didn't pick a small cap miner or exploration stock. :)

August 2010: 1st with ELD Elders;
May 2012: 2nd with SGP Stockland; and
January 2013; 1st with FKP Property Group.

Interesting. I'm the opposite. Last 3 months.

April 2013 - 4th PBG (2nd until the last day!!!)
May 2013 - 2nd PBG
June 2013 - 1st IVA

July 2013 - ? BTR

Congrats, pav, on winning the June comp. Outstanding return on your pick :xyxthumbs

Congratulations PAV. Consistant improvement over the last three month, you must be a contender for this years brownlow medal or the share picking equivalent. :)

Haha thanks mate.

As they usually say when interviewed "I just came for the free meal. Just happy to poll a few votes."
