That used to be OK, but now it is necessary to post those reasons in the stock thread itself. The reason for this rule is to get more posts in stock threads, and it does work, so please don't forget to abide by that rule when entering the competition. Thanks!

no big deal, for it to work, we need a crash but not hard (vs bear bboz) and flee to concervative but not gold or bond/ currency...would have to be very lucky..just trying to raise awareness

OK, I have added @bux2000, @Gunnerguy, and @Go Figure to the July competition. Thank you all for posting in the thread of your competition entry.

Overall, July is looking like a better month than June with three entrants already over 10% after the first day.

The compare entries chart I normally post will not be posted tonight as it takes 4 trading days to reset to the 1st day of the month. No use having 2 days of last month and 2 days of this month.
I'll do one up on Tuesday after COB.

As promised a quick update below comparing all entries against one another for the July Tipping Competition.

What a great start for @brerwallabi (XF1 up 47.54%) who has has taken a clear lead early in the month. Is this the top, will it fill in the gap or will it carry on? ? Time will tell.

End of the 1st full week in the July Monthly Tipping Comp. Compare chart of all tipsters down below.

In 1st place is @brerwallabi (XF1up 45.90%) after a good start and a good day on Tuesday.
In 2nd place is @Purple XS2 (AVR up 15.44%) slowly creeping up through the field.
3rd place was grabbed by @Muschu (AOU up 11.11%) after a good day on Wednesday.

@jancha has the dusting duties after a poor week , let's hope you can bounce back next week.

I tried a manual update but it doesn't seem to be working. Looks like there may be an issue. I don't have time to look into it tonight but I'll see what I can do during the weekend.

End of the 2nd full week in the July Monthly Tipping Competition and below, is the visual comparison journey of entries so far this month.

Unfortunately as Joe stated above the ladder update is not working so, the order of names/entries are basically in their correct order with the % return of each stock on the left hand side. Hopefully this is suffice at the moment.

@brerwallabi (XF1 up 62.30%) sits in 1st place with a great lead over @Purple XS2 (AVR up 23.97%) in 2nd place continuing his steady rise from the first day of the month.
Next ??? In 3rd place is @Go Figure (PPL up 18.52%) after a nice solid week. ......
