Even as Houthi leaders swore retaliation, Mr Biden warned earlier on Friday that he could order more strikes if they did not stop their attacks on merchant and military vessels in one of the world's most economically vital waterways.

After unofficially assisting the houtis from Yemen launch attacks on western Ships, it sennt missiles into Iraq.
Now it has launched a third front with attacks on a rebel base in Pakistan.
escalation is the word we are looking for.
Pakistan is in deep trouble.
It has been in a perennial war footing with India, is dirt poor, the internal politics driven by a lunatic ex cricketer have reached a dangerous level, and now its getting attacked by Iran.

Iran is the last threat to Israel in the middle East. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing was orchestrated to take out Iran in a similar fashion to what happened in Iraq.

The whole thing is very suspicious. I somewhat believe in the possibility that the original attacks on Israel were allowed to happen. There is generally a 5 min response time from attack helicopters followed by troops. The whole thing is suss.

Is it because those killed are Christians, or is because, at this faultline between nomads and agriculturalists, the perpetrators somehow victims due to transhumance in a time of alleged climate change.

Did Penny recently donate about $30m of our money to UNRWA? It might have been stalled but was DUMB in the first case. Most knew that UNRWA were supporting Hamas.

Australia will temporarily pause disbursement of recently announced funding to the agency, Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong said, adding the allegations were “deeply concerning” and that she welcomed the UNRWA’s immediate response.

The claims come as a black eye for UNRWA, which provides humanitarian assistance and protection to Palestinian refugees in the Gaza Strip, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and the West Bank. It has long been regarded with suspicion by Israel and Republicans in the US, who argue that it only fuels the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and money going to food, education and health care frees up Hamas to fund hostilities against Israel.

“These shocking allegations come as more than 2 million people in Gaza depend on lifesaving assistance that the agency has been providing since the war began,” UNRWA Director-General Philippe Lazzarini said in a statement Friday. “Anyone who betrays the fundamental values of the United Nations also betrays those whom we serve in Gaza, across the region and elsewhere around the world.”
