Getting historical intraday price data

Hi all,

Just wondering if it's possible to get historical intraday price data for free maybe?
I need 1min or 2min historical data for asx,nyse, and nasdaq..

try Yahoo.com...
click on finance section....
put in the company and if ASX... put .AX after the stock...
and then click on historial prices...
you can find data going backing years and with intraday prices and volumes...

Also if you use Interactive Brokers for trading, the data can be brought into Amibroker. Depending on how much you specify, you can have quite a bit of history. Eg. I have about two months of hourly data.

No idea. I've not had a need for intraday equity data other than a quick glance. Let me start it up and try to force it back.

TWS is so resource hungry....i suppose i can check the ES while i have it open

Just backfilled 50,000 x 1 minute no worries at all. Thats about 104 days. Could try more, seems to be plenty.

Just wondering what charting software are you using, I have problems getting more than 14 days of data from IB, for future contracts.

can interactivebrokers give 1hour data. can they provide asx and nasdaq and NYSE. HK also would also be nice. I need 2 years of 1hour data ( price and volume ).
Seem strange to open an account i don't need fro some data they might give.
what format is the data in. any ASCI would be good.
