What a great story

Every year someone I know well buys toys from Fluffy,toys to dolls to games and even new cutlery still in the wrapper I saw this year.
They get these things from Garage sales. All are selected for quality and its damned good.
This year there were 217 items and every year off they go to a charity---this year it was Anglic Care.
Total cost for the year $1350.

Sure not on the scale of the Santa in the article but something all could do without breaking the bank.
217 smiles of anticipation.

Great story. Such a pleasant change from all the doom mongering.

On a much smaller scale, a friend of mine stopped off at the animal refuge today with a donation of food. He said there was a huge mountain of donations, enough to keep them going for many months.

So I guess lots of people do their bit, according to their means and capacity, and we never hear about it.

It would be good if we could extend this spirit of kindness throughout the year.
Doesn't take that much to look out for one another.
