Endowment/Installment Warrants

About a dozen years ago I can remember a few companies offering Installment and Endowment warrants over quite a few companies. I was wondering if these products are still around. I looked on google and it seems that endowment warrants are now used for annuities.

Can anyone tell me what happened with these products as they seemed a good way to get into the share market, with capital gians built into the purchase price.

They are essentially an overpriced long term option over a stock. The installment warrant mkt died down after the GFC when people realized how bad risk/reward they were.

Instalments, they were my favourite trading item years ago but CFD's and market maker greed have made them difficult to trade.
