IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This website https://www.stockmetric.net/asx-indices/all-ordinaries/ indicates the QOR is not currently included in the All Ordinaries but my Norgate Data indicates it is.

Questions need to be answered
This is something, @Richard Dale needs to be investigated as it may be caused by downgrading from Platinum to Silver subscription

(I'm also having a look at the behaviour in AmiBroker of downgrading from Platinum to Gold or Silver level - we might need to consider a way of "blanking out" those Current & Past watchlists to prevent this from happening in the future)

I will have a few points to make at a later stage after I Survey the kind Captain Skates TOP 10
Is it possible for you to add the Market Capitalization of each

Sorry Capn My failing eyes let me down again
I typed in QQR instead of QOR

"She's a Fine Ocean Going Type

Nope, not fine
Amibroker Exploration Analysis has the [Filter] the All Ordinaries selected from Norgate Data.

ASX:QOR has been generated as a buy signal
But it appears it's not currently included in the All Ordinaries.

At the moment my Norgate Data Base may be corrupt
I'm waiting for a response from @Richard Dale for further clarification if downloading to a lower subscription level is the culprit.

The IVZ is Certainly a Fine Ocean Going Type and I will be Hoisting her at Dawn on Monday

The QOR is also a Fine Ocean Going Type but I fear the VOLUME might be the problem at Dawn on the Open

@qldfrog, would you be kind enough to post your complete list of companies that are included in your ASX:XAO Norgate Data?

Once I have your list I can do a comparison.

Ok, will try to do that.as I have not run amibroker for ages..April, I hope I updated my subscription.i think I did
Give me a couple of hours

@Skate that list is correct (as at 2023-09-02)

Re QOR.au - this stock entered the All Ords on 2022-03-21 added as part of the March 2022 Quarterly Rebalance (it was FZO at that time).

"stockmetric.net" appears to be faulty. I'm not sure why you considered it to be authoritative.

Thank you, Richard
I have created a fresh instance of the NorgateData database in AmiBroker. I believe the downgrade from Platinum to Silver subscription left some remanents of the old database.

Before the refresh
The watchlist had the "Current & Past" as a selection option

Filter Settings.jpg

After the rebuild
There is no longer access to the "Current & Past"

Filter after rebuild.jpg

Thank you Richard for the clarification. I apologize for the confusion. I should not have assumed the database was inaccurate without first confirming with you. I appreciate you taking the time to verify the validity of the data. While the backtest had flaws, I agree that paper trading can still provide useful insights into the strategy's real-world viability.

I plan to proceed with paper trading while tracking any issues that come up. This will allow me to refine the rules and coding incrementally based on actual performance. My goal is to learn where the weaknesses lie, rather than prove it works perfectly. Watching it underperform will be a valuable lesson in managing risk and expectations.

Thank you again for confirming the database's accuracy. I look forward to continuing our discussion as I paper trade the strategy.

Hi Fellow Capn
As you are Designing a Ship of Equal weighted sails
I think the S&P ASX 300 - Excluding All of the ASX 200 would best fit your needs

Your filters might then make a lot more sense to me and maybe even work?
Invest.jpg
What I mean is
You can design a Ship's trousseau of sail like a TALL SHIP designed ages ago

Doldrums 2.jpg

Or a More advanced design like My Ship

@Captain_Chaza using the Watchlist as you suggested below are the generated signals: ASX 300 excluding ASX 200

Mr @Skate I assume you do not need that list anymore? I have 499 entries in XAO which might not be accurate either vs 2215 including Current and Past.

The Beauty of Paper Trading is You can Race One against the Other
( If you have the Time)

Without looking at the charts I would put my money on Australia II not the first one AUSTRALIA I
For a lot more reasons than you think at present
