Donald Trump - Business and tax stories

Nah the excuses made up for Trump is weird even by US standards as for those going after him the Dems would definitely want him in the race Trumps shine left him after the capital riots he is unelectable IMHO.
What's weird is that the "get Trump" campaign is completely overlooked.
*Fake Russian collusion.
*Fbi complicit in multiple acts of corrupt practices.
*Election interference (failure to report Biden laptop which was originally labelled as Russian propaganda except its real).
*Fbi helping to instigate Jan 6.
*Fake stories about Trump.
*Impeachment founded by democrats lies who then acted on it.
*Social media collusion with authorities.

This is only half the list that is verified. Tell me what stinks again?
I find leftists thinking on the issue insane. It should have nothing to do with Trump, the above is completely mental for it to happen to a politician.

he is unelectable IMHO.
It seems not

Very Trumpian. You certainly have swallowed his Schick. That list is load of rubbish. If you want to believe it go right ahead. Doesn't make it true in any universe except Trump world.

Meanwhile Donald Trump is facing arraignment . Trouble is he is running out of lawyers. He can't seem to find any new ones to represent him in Court and his old ones are jumping out before they get disbarred for ethics violations. The way its going now by the time he is arraigned for attempting to pervert the election results in Georgia and geeing up his militia to Hang Pence in the Capitol he will be defending himself. Or perhaps he will have to have a court appointed Public Defender ? :)

One of the overriding issues the potential lawyers are facing is that the most convincing evidence of Trumps guilt comes from the records of his conversations with all and sundry. When the accused is regularly heard on tape boasting of his criminal achievements ( which in Trump World are totally and completely righteous ) creating a viable defense becomes exceptionally difficult. This has already been demonstrated with the the current indictment and will continue to be the case with Georgia election squeeze.

Donald Trump is expected to be represented at his first court appearance to face federal criminal charges for retaining national security materials and obstruction of justice by two of his existing lawyers, after struggling to recruit a local Florida lawyer willing to join his legal defense team.

The lawyers making an appearance with Trump on Tuesday will be the top former federal prosecutor Todd Blanche and the former Florida solicitor general Chris Kise, according to people familiar with the matter. Trump’s co-defendant, his valet Walt Nauta, will be represented by Stanley Woodward.

Trump and his legal team spent the afternoon before his arraignment interviewing potential lawyers but the interviews did not result in any joining the team in time for Trump’s initial court appearance scheduled for 3pm ET on Tuesday after several attorneys declined to take him as a client.

Trump has also seemingly been unable to find a specialist national security lawyer, eligible to possess a security clearance, to help him navigate the Espionage Act charges.

The last-minute scramble to find a veteran trial lawyer was a familiar process for Trump, who has had difficulty hiring and keeping lawyers to defend him in the numerous federal and state criminal cases that have dogged him through his presidency and after he left the White House.

How many law suits has Donald Trump instigated in his career?

Couple of hundred? A Thousand ? Three Thousand ? Keep going..

A long, long time ago,2019 actually, a former Federal Prosecutor researched Trumps litigation history. Fascinating story of a businessman who used the courts as a weapon. His chief armourer was Roy Cohn who was one of the most ruthless and unethical lawyers who ever stamped the legal field. (You have to read the interview to check out why he was finally disbarred )

Anyway it is worth checking out the interview. It offers a great insight into Trump the litigator.

The problem for Trump now is that these are criminal not civil cases . Makes a huge difference in what he can get away with.

Trump and his 3,500 suits: Prosecutor and author reveals in interview his portrait of 'Plaintiff in Chief'

While Donald Trump had no experience in working in government or in public service when he became president of the United States, he brought an astounding history of involvement in thousands of lawsuits to the nation’s highest office. Former federal prosecutor and author James D. Zirin illuminates more than 45 years of Trump’s legal disputes in his new book, Plaintiff in Chief: A Portrait of Donald Trump in 3,500 Lawsuits, published in September 2019.

As a federal prosecutor, Zirin spent decades handling complex litigation. He’s also a self-described “middle-of-the-road Republican.” Plaintiff in Chief is not a partisan screed but a carefully documented legal study.

In his book, Zirin scrupulously details Trump’s life in courts of law. Based on more than three years of extensive research, the book examines illustrative cases and how they reflect on the character and moral perspective of the current president. Zirin references page after page of court records and other evidence to illustrate Trump’s legal maneuvering.

As Zirin points out, Trump learned how to use the law from his mentor, notorious lawyer Roy Cohn. Trump took Cohn’s scorched-earth strategy to heart.

“Trump saw litigation as being only about winning,” Zirin writes. “He sued at the drop of a hat. He sued for sport; he sued to achieve control; and he sued to make a point. He sued as a means of destroying or silencing those who crossed him. He became a plaintiff in chief.”

Zirin argues that Trump has shown a chronic scorn for the law. “All this aberrant behavior would be problematic in a businessman,” he writes. “But the implications of such conduct in a man who is the president of the United States are nothing less than terrifying.”

Zirin is an accomplished litigator who has appeared in federal and state courts around the nation. He was an assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York under then-U.S. Attorney Robert M. Morgenthau.

His other books include Supremely Partisan: How Raw Politics Tips the Scales in the United States Supreme Court and The Mother Court: Tales of Cases That Mattered in America’s Greatest Trial Court. His articles have appeared in array of publications.

Zirin recently answered some questions—from Robin Lindley, a Seattle-based writer and lawyer—on his study of Trump, by telephone from his office in New York.

Whoa are you saying the Russian collusion was real?
Everyone of .my points was backed up.
In fact you fell for every "get Trump" story. The thread is littered with them where you pushed it as true and it was then proven to be false.

He's not magically getting out of all these situations. It's because the majority were not true.

"Trump overfed koi fish in Japan":roflmao:
I forgot about that one.
It's ridiculous at this point.

But let's see what happens with the latest case. In my opinion the Republicans are wanting to get rid of Trump as well. Fox News is also against Trump running again and they are even trying to sideline Tucker Carlson on twitter till after the election with lawsuits.

Complete circus.

Mo its the US its how they play the game there are more people than just the democrat's that want Trump behind bars the old Replublican guard hate Trump even more.

This whole thing is of Trumps making unlike when the Republicans ran a special investigator full time on Clinton and the best they could come up with was Monica.

That's crossing the line, this is nothing near that however its how they play the game in the US corrupted all the way.

Where have you been the last 100 years?

They are petrified Trump will go scorched earth on them, if elected. And they will thoroughly deserve it.

It's getting ridiculous at this stage. Maybe we can drop a dome over the yanks, because I'm sick of their trends getting picked up by the rest of the world.

I never thought he would get close to a win. Now there's a distinct possibility.
As funny as I would find it. I wouldn't be able to handle the crying of TDS afflicted.

Backed up by what Moxjo ? I could royally waste a couple of decades researching, disputing and finally proving that the throw away list you offer is either lies, misinformation, fantasy OR has a kernel of truth.

But so what ? I can get all that just seeing Trump speak today at the golf club after his arraignment. Every twisted lie is regurgitated ad nauseam.

And Trump doesn't "magically" get away. It has taken a lot of serious lying and pressure and fear mongering to get him where he has got today. That is why I posted the story of his 3500 plus court actions to date. If anyone wants to get the picture of how Trump operates read that interview.

Really?
Because you didn't all through his term when I called it out.
Have we reached the final stages of TDS?
Complete rewrite of history.

You couldn't prove anything was true the first time around.
I'm worried you might have a stroke if Trump wins the election.

Tucker Carlson summed it up why you "should" vote for Trump in 2024 (not that votes count anymore)
