Good morning everyone and welcome to the December 2023 stock tipping competition!

This month there was one entrant who forgot to post in the thread of their stock tip in accordance with the competition rules: @greggles. If @greggles posts in the thread of his competition entry within the next 48 hours he will be added to the December competition.

Could all qualifying entrants please check their entry and entry price and report any errors to me in this thread. Once again, I was rushed this morning and may have made a mistake.

it's amazing the dispersion ... just one day in, and for 32 selected out of 2400 possible ASX candidates, we get % range of -14 to +14

Wow saw SVL spike up today and I wondered if @explod selected it this month. Yep, he's nailed it.

The ASX doesn't have any silver miners worth trading. Have to go to the US for SLV-ETF.

Sometimes I use Investing.com for price and chart updates for the Comp.
As IND was not covered by them I requested them to add it to their website which they have now done so. (last night)

December Comp Update ........ Not a great day today for the XSO, down -1.55% ........... ASF Team Average is down 3.7% for this month already.

Most of the entries fell today. Looks like a good tussle between @barney & @chezza_direct at the bottom, barney won't give up without a fight .

The only tip I can give you is try to Go NORTH as far as you can

NOT SOUTH as it gets very crowded down there for the WOODEN SPOON

It has always amazed me how many participants set sail for The Wooden Spoon
as if it was a badge of honor
