Good evening SirRumpole,

Jonny Bairstow saga continues to hit the airwaves... reignited some Australia v England angst the old arch enemy and cricketing foe... Vice Versa amongst fans. Not only more security, but reckon more tickets sold during the series more TV viewers and more critical examinations ha ha ha ha ha ha

Might well be a different story if the test series win loss record at this point in time was in the reverse ha ha ha ha ha
Ah never mind, need another test win... to rub some salt into the wounds...

Jeepers that Mark Wood can bowl very very quick ... and he ain't played cricket for awhile...
England won the toss and sent Australia into bat. Broad immediately took the wicket of Warner (again) in the first over... caught at slip.

A couple of quick wickets earl y on day 2 and Austria will be right on top. Getting Bairstow and Stokes will shut the Pommies up.

Good evening
Joe Root removed with the second ball of the day. Pat Cummins again, and again it’s a nervous nudge outside of off stump from an England batsman. ha ha ha ha
nice

EDIT 5 Fa Jonny Bairstow's slash out wide, .... edge to slip gonsky bowled by Starc

Good morning
The Aussies will arrive at Headingley for day four of the third Test needing 10 wickets to end a 22-year away Ashes series drought in England. The Pommies have reached 0-27 at stumps on day three in pursuit of 251.

Travis Head's 77 runs certainly helped Australia to a lead of 250 runs. No play was possible until after tea because of rain.
Intermittent rain is forecast also today, but with two days of play remaining an outcome is likely.
Go Australia....
