I love these progress charts! Thanks so much for doing them. Positions 2-6 are all pretty close right now, but UMike is powering along way ahead of all of us. Fierce competition with a lot of great results. I hope most competitors have real holdings of their choices! :) (it pleases me to say I do ;) )

Slowly GED creeps up the board.

Struth GG, your flying to the top, AGAIN. Very sorry now I was unable to stop by and catch you playing darts in 1967. We just slept for the night on the beach at Townsville. Told next morning we were lucky the sharks didn't get us, but on reflection they were getting plenty from the meatworks spill just north.

We were a bit short on dough though, after our last shed we spent it mostly at the pub in Richmond, so had to wire my Dad for $20 bucks from Yeppoon to get us back home. Us shearers from the south mainly played hooky with (those detestable small rope coits of Qld) rubber in those days back home.

In fact it was in Richmond where they asked us "who's got the pub in Melbourne now?"

Good work GG, keep up those darts. The wisdom of real experience shows.

It looks as if my GED will join @Dona Ferentes and @Padowan in the naughty corner.

Even @tech/a who rarely holds a share for longer than a tweet from the Orange Fool in the White House has crept up to 3rd last.

I'm thinking of posting a chart interpretation with a buy signal on PFT to bring UMike back to earth, 149% in 14 trading days, impressive :cool:

Thanks @Joe Blow

The visual journey of all entries so far in the August Monthly Comp below.

@UMike is sitting pretty up there by himself and what a great pick, well done. :xyxthumbs @access and @Joules MM1 sitting in 2nd & 3rd are chasing hard to catch up. :xyxthumbs

.. Can I cash out now?
(PFT down ... on an up day.)
AS an FORMER owner of COK and BCL, I have no faith.
aw, pfft. Air gradually being let out of its tyres? You're only up 100% now !!

Meanwhile, as a desperate exercise, I have even been buying into my (languishing) tip SE1.
<this is not a good sign, as I tend to think the randomness of EoM and short-termism of the competition renders it dartboard-like, as per @Garpal Gumnut .>

Oiiii.
Can I cash out now!!!!!
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

UMike, I was about to ask about the stop loss function, MGV, double digit loss when 70% of entrants are in profit

No not at all @verce, SBW is turning out for the Roosters (NRL) in a few weeks time but there is talk he might be going to the Bulldogs next year. A new take on Dona's post, Rooster to Feather Duster. :laugh:

Sorry about that, :rolleyes: back to business.

Weekly view chart below, there is Resistance at 0.22 - still sellers there - might need a few weeks to build a higher low before breakout. You might have to pick it again for next month. ;)

Hi @debtfree

Thank you again for the chart. It's almost prophetic. I want to ask about the Resistance at 0.22 - it looks like it got smashed through today, making a new 52 week high. Does this have any significance / is this the breakout you were talking about?

Cheers,
verce

Congrats @verce, its going along nicely for you. :xyxthumbs

Weekly view - Yes mentioned on the earlier chart the HL did form last week coming back to rest on the previous high then it has certainly taken off this week.
Looking at the volume the sellers seem to have disappeared so that's good but it's only Wednesday. ;)
0.22 was the resistance line on the chart and is gone for now but it might be tested moving forward, you never know :) That all time high of 0.40 is looking a bit closer now. :cool:

As for "It's almost prophetic." That a long way off the truth describing my talent mate, just a few tips stolen from @peter2 to be honest and he wouldn't be too impressed with it being brought so far away from the EMAs. :eek::)

Top 3 - @UMike, @access and @Joules MM1 are still in front of you so you'll have to still keep buying until Monday afternoon. :roflmao:

@AspeaK75 deserves a mention.
A first time entrant. Currently 9th with Adavale ADD and 35% up. :cautious:;)
Well done. Hope it's bringing you a few :2twocents
Make that 2nd place, with 143% rise.
Nipping at the heels of @UMike
With 2 trading days left for August and Winter.
Spring came early for me bringing a healthy 72.07% net profit by selling ADD in todays mayhem. :xyxthumbs:2twocents
Purchased on 21/8.

I think I may have owned some ADD a million years ago but I obviously must have sold them at a loss:(

Do I appear bitter and twisted because of this?

Not at all.:mad::oops:

Its the other 5 or 10 similar Stocks that I did the same thing with which cost me a trip to the Bahamas/and or an early retirement.

So in the final washup, I AM bitter and twisted, for totally different reasons to why I am NOT bitter and twisted!:rolleyes::Do_O Lol

I think I need a holiday:confused:
