Are there any charts available where you can set stop losses?

Hi All,

I'm new to stock investing and don't know if I'm asking the right question but I wanna know if there are any live charts on which you can set conditions for a stop loss and then you can check regularly live in the index if the stock is breaching that condition or not, like trailing percentage stops or 52-week SMA breach stops. It'll be nice if these programs are free(and accurate), cause I'm just learning at the moment and don't want to put money into anything.

You want a chart package that sends you an alert? For example if XYZ breaches 100.00 then email me...?

Ninjatrader can do. Its free to use.

I just downloaded it and looks pretty scray(nothing is working). I connected it with google but can't find any Australian Companies. I'm gonna try to learn how to use it from beginner tutorials if I can find any. Anyways thanks for your reply

Its not too bad once you get going. You need to create an instrument list then add the instruments

I think you'd be better off getting a broker than using a charting package at this point. Start by investing/trading small sums. CMC have 10$ one way on stocks.
They allow you to set profit targets and stop loss conditional orders on the same stock. Set and forget.

Or if you really want to play it safe, CMC have an alerts service for a small fee. Just fund your account first.
