I am in the market for charting software for my macpro, I am especially interested in candle stick charting and data search capabilities.
Has anyone used or know anything of ProTA Gold for Mac OS X???
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks
...You do not need parallels to run both, but you do need to reboot and use tem separately. I've tried Parallels but the mac tends to freeze sometimes with it. Last thing you need if you are intraday trading. cheers Mike
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIApJMzGzDQ&feature=relatedI've stopped using parallels and now use VMWare Fusion. Its much better and completely stable. My Mac has never frozen with VMWare, and peripheral USB devices work better.

Have just watched this on You Tube is that what you are talking about?
Hi Prise and others,
How did you go with searching for Mac trading software? I'm currently in the market for software to run on my Mac and was told by another trader there is no really good software for Macs out there.
Searching thru the net it seems Pro Ta Gold is getting good reviewsand works well. Can anyone confirm this? Do you need to buy anything else to go with it? And can it provide real time data?
Cheers
Adrian
