It has been a lousy week just gone.
Started to feel crook on Saturday night last week.
Fast forward to yesterday. Off to the GP. General examination shows a lung infection.
Prescription medication to start the treatment.
This morning off to Midland for a couple of X-rays which will tell the story perhaps on Tuesday.
The two outcomes are: a) the tablets will do the job and b) if they don't off to hospital for a stint to get the lungs back into working order.
At the moment I could not pass a RBT if the cops pulled me over.

Get well soon and tell us about your journey, you are a battler and done this before, so no doubt this is just another one to knock out of the park. :xyxthumbs

Sorry to hear your problems, especially at this time of the year.

Hopefully the tablets will work.

I had something like this a few months ago. Walking pneumonia was the term they used (wasn't CV), there was a three day stretch I could hardly breath.... and OMG the coughing.

Take it easy.

@farmerge, I’m sorry to hear you’re going through this, especially around Christmas. It sounds like a tough situation, but I’m hoping the medication works quickly and you start feeling better soon. I wish you a speedy recovery and much better weeks ahead.

Skate.

Take care mate. Rest up, watch your favourite show, read a good book and drink some herbal teas.

Merry Christmas.

Good morning/afternoon all.
Update on my well being.
Had to visit the GP on Christmas Even afternoon as I was feeling pretty bad.
He al but had me booked into Midland Hospital then and there.
Left lung has a healthy infection and my heart is slightly enlarged.
He had a change of mind about the hospital stay and has put it off for the time being, treating the two conditions with medications, which seem to be working. next appointment is on Tuesday to see what and if.
Spent most of Christmas Day in bed along with Boxing Day also.
Today have been up for a couple of hours and that is me about done for the morning.
Fortunately I am still upright when not on the bed.

Hopefully everything goes well, it sounds as though the doctor has it under control.
Being exposed to bugs in hospital, while having a lung and heart problem, could end up with real unintended consequences. ;)
Keep the Dr on speed dial, the car warmed up and give the fencing jobs a rest for a while. :xyxthumbs

The bed has been my friend for the past few days.

Off to the GP again tomorrow for follow-ups on the right lung and heart.
Coughing has since ceased or at best is only a tickle and I am hoping that has taken the pressure off the heart.
Just doing virtually nothing for the past 3 weeks, one soon loses body strength and momentum,
I am feeling about as strong as a new born baby, well actually the baby is probably stronger than me at present.
Once cleared by the GP strengthening exercises will begin and then hopefully back to work and normality.

Unfortunately, the merry-go-round of medical appointments will continue tomorrow. X-ray of the lungs again and an Echo scan of the heart has to be organised.
Today, wasn't the best of days with a prolonged effort on the bed, and the weather wasn't that favourable as well.
Hit 41c this afternoon.
Looking positively forward, thinking it can't get any worse than the past 3 weeks.
