I think I agree with what you are saying. I just don't know what you are saying.
Chops a must ,

Indeed I did not read myself after writing it that makes some interest reading
Next time I will make sure that what write kind of makes sense.

Not surprisingly, there are reports of voting irregularities coming out of the election; vote flipping, intimidation, challenges, the whole shebang.

Links to come

Republicans are ..... bad for free trade, and bad for Australia.

Is that so? I heard Kevin Rudd of the ALP saying today that the Democrats are more protectionist than the Republicans and the ALP will be opposing them on this issue. regards YN.

I would dispute that, especially considering what we have seen with farm subsidies.

And certainly, their obstinance at the WTO does not look good over the last 5 years.

hey

this may seem stupid but i dont follow politics that intensly.

Is it a complete election (Ie new president) or is it just state election type thing?

Thanx

Mid term. No presidential election. Kind of like how we only vote for half of the senate every 3 years or whatever it is, except they do it for two houses, I think.

I hear you!!

Well one mass murdering criminal cabalista down, just a few more to go:

Rumsfeld Quits

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, the controversial face of U.S. war policy, quit Wednesday after Democrats rode Americans' anger over Iraq to victory in Tuesday's congressional elections.

Just days after declaring his strong support for Rumsfeld, President Bush said he agreed with his top war manager that it was time for a new perspective.

Bush said the current Iraq policy was "not working well enough, fast enough."

He said Rumsfeld would be replaced by former CIA Director Robert Gates, a member of the Iraq Study Group, a bipartisan group that is assessing alternative strategies for Iraq... more via link above

When I said a woman for president might make sense - I wasn't thinking of Ayn Rand - gotta feeling she was about 3 baseball pitches right of dubya wasn't she? who in turn leaves Attila the Hun looking ike a moderate etcetc.

THen again - I guess they could say they had a "RANDY White house" - takes you back to the Kennedy Bros don't it lol. Wasn't a virgin left in Hollywood by the time those two were finished. ;)

alternative strategies for Iraq...

Mark my words, the only strategy that will work fast enough is to split the country as I outlined previously in my proposed policy as President of USA. It just takes men a bit longer to catch up.

Personally I like 'Lewis Black's' (Comedian) idea for the next president..

He suggests that the winner of the next American Idol is to be immediately blindfolded, and required to throw a dart at a map of the US.. then they put a parachute on a monkey, fly him/her/it over the spot, throw him/her/it out.. The first person the monkey takes the hand of when it's wandering around becomes the President of the USA..

Cracked me up.. The sad fact is they could probably do a hell of a lot better with this routine.. :D

Can you believe that Rumsfeld likened himself with, and quoted, Winston Churchill.. Retch.. They should be able to arrest and charge him for that..

Regards,

Buster

Hey Buster, this monkey must be a male (not sure what colour though) cause last time I checked, the female monkey was busy running Wall St. ;)

Rumsfeld likened himself with Winston Churchill.

In his dreams!!

That's arguable. You can not attach all the rogue government in the world, the problem is was not that Saddam was an iduous dictator which everybody agree on saying it 's more that having a war with Irak was the worst of all the option available sometimes it is better not to do anything rather than going to war with the wrong reasons and furthermore making them up along the way did not help it either. What surprise me is how Australia reacted to it by following the US as lap dog and the people in this country did not say anything that says a lot about the independance of judgement of Australia.
To me France, Germany and the other anti - war countries were correct in opposing it.

Australia has no option than to support America in virtually every war they have been involved in. This will guarantee that America and the UK will give immediate aid to Australia or come to the rescue of Australia, if attacked or invaded by its many possible enemies in Asia and the Far East.

Australasia is a far away land, to its many close allies, and it is important that America has some of its vast fleet close to hand.

I'm glad the Democrats won. Lets hope they stick to the political centre. It will be a breath of fresh air. Too much power by one party often leads to lazyness and arrogance. I also find it intersting that two Democrat leaning independents now have the balance of power in the US Senate.

That will just transfer the war from an internal to international one.
The only real problem it will solve is the Turkish/Kurdish standoff, by finally giving the lergest group of displaced people in the world a real homeland (yes, they number greater than the Palestinians).

Now if a male said that to a female, how long would they last until banned?

I think me running the US OF A will definitely take care of that :)

Agree. Kurds are nice and have suffered enough.

The Palestinian conflict is not about numbers, but rather religious significance. Jerusalem is the home of the second most holly place for Moslems. The most used technique to recruit jihadists is fighting to protect their holly places from infidels (Al Qa'aba in Saudi and Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem).

I hear you Mofra, positive discrimination is just as bad. This was just meant as a joke. I am no feminist or man hater by any means. I think men are fab! I work mostly with men and I can proudly say that they all love me.
Mofra said:

Insignificant.

In conclusion:
1. I suck as a President.
2. You have a cute cat.
3. I have nothing against feminists.
4. Monroe is one the sexiest women ever.

I'll try and do better next time, promise.
