Gee I dislike the Republicans. I hope they don't win Tuesday's election for the sake of the world.

Re: *cuk I hate the US Republican Party!

Agreed but keep the language down a touch......Saddam for president!!!!...lol

Re: *cuk I hate the US Republican Party!

A Thought to consider :-
Maybe we need a "green woman" for president
Even Plato knew that women thought more humanely, probably more logically than men. Something to do with those XX chromosomes. ( two women are equivalent to a XXXX as I recall lol - being originally a Queenslander) - And a green one would be such a breath of fresh air Maybe she would talk with Mother Nature with a more understanding and tolerant attitude.

Even Al Gore was prepared to lean towards green.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y_chromosome
"and some women have three Xs " - now that's an Xceptional woman !! lol

PS "For example, female birds,....(can) have ZW sex chromosomes, and males have ZZ sex chromosomes."
So is Wikipedia saying that men fall to sleep when sex is on the menu ? lol

Don't know anything about her green credentials, but how about Hillary for President next time round?

I personally prefer black except when I'm green with envy

Woman president? about time!

Here's a site that trades futures on US Elections.

I was looking for insights on the Congressionals, it's a little confusing reading the data.
The 2008 election data is much simpler, Democrats clearly in the lead.

Interesting stat: People are least likely to vote for someone in America, if they are an atheist; this rates them as the most unelectable minority.

Saddam's verdict timing more than a coincidence? I think so.

Republicans are bad for the world, bad for free trade, and bad for Australia.

What I would do as a president:

1. Goes without saying as a green president I would support new alt. energy use like nuclear, this should be a win for the environment but most importantly ends America’s interest in the middle east, which leads me to the next point

2. Although there will be no need for the oil in Iraq, there is still the prospect of civil war, so the best thing would be to divide the country. Kurds in the north, Sunnies in the middle and Sheia’ts in the south (of course the leader of the Sheia’ts should be an American in disguise or else it’ll be a take over target!)

3. Give the Palestinians their land back (o.k. at least some of it!!) that will ease pressure form Hezbollah in the north and Hammas in the south.

4. I’ll get Israel to do my dirty work with Iran and Japan with North Korea

5. Drown Africa in condoms

6. Force all fast food chains to sell gourmet food only, which can’t be cooked fast (preferably cooked with extra virgin olive oil)

7. Tone down violence in movies and play stations, by that I mean you can still see people dying but with their body parts intact.

It’s not that hard! really.

ok - a green black woman who's well red, and preferably not blue or too pessimsitically browned off with the state of the world - and who's a lateral thinker but doesnt go off the rails. I'm pinking you're on the right track there ng (imho)

Time will tell on the outcome of these elections, that is, whether the electorate have read the real world correctly.

If the USA had not gone in to attack the forces in Iraq; What would have happened? The attack on the Taliban would have gone ahead and Sadaam Hussein would have turned a blind eye to terrorist forces training in Iraq, and Syria would have more easily given these forces their backing. The battle would have had to be fought at some stage and the war against terrorism, which is expected to last 30 years or more, would have had to have been fought anyway.

They should of focused more on defence then offence.

You get a country who hates America and come in and attack terrorists which are essentialy family members of those that are not terrorists. Which in turn get whoever wasn't a terrorist then to become one.

It's not like terrorists wear red shirts and pants so that America knows who are terrorists or not, basically whoever attack America in Afghanistan are counted as terrorists, as Terrorists are essentially normal civilians there, wearing same thing that everyone else is..

Ahhhhh.... that was a lie dood. There were NO terrorist training camps in Iraq. That is because Al Qaeda are largely Shi'a, and Saddam had a habit of killing them.

Smartin' up hey.

I reckon if voting in US was compulsory, the world would be better off for it.

Yes. They also need to get rid of the religious influence on politics as well.

I think they need another revolution! Purge the lot of 'em!

Where's Che when you need him?

That's arguable. You can not attach all the rogue government in the world, the problem is was not that Saddam was an iduous dictator which everybody agree on saying it 's more that having a war with Irak was the worst of all the option available sometimes it is better not to do anything rather than going to war with the wrong reasons and furthermore making them up along the way did not help it either. What surprise me is how Australia reacted to it by following the US as lap dog and the people in this country did not say anything that says a lot about the independance of judgement of Australia.
To me France, Germany and the other anti - war countries were correct in opposing it.

I think I agree with what you are saying. I just don't know what you are saying.

I'm not the first around here to think in this direction - for instance that "whizkid trader" back on the "F/A vs T/A " thread - Jack Schwager said the same thing :-

Check this video of Jack Schwager speaking on the topic. (about 10 minutes in) http://www.fxcmexpo.com/video/jackschwager.htm Cheers

BTW, I'm definitely not suggesting that you wade through that download again - and it's pretty unkind of me to quote "out of context" with "so many miles / kilometres behind" - BUT he did differentiate between female trading skills and male trading skills !!

And I finally worked it out - !! best is to train a female monkey to stand on nettles whilst throwing darts !!

or maybe to run the USA for that matter

PS: women seem to be clawing their way up there ...http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/200611/s1784087.htm

lol I remember when the speaker of the Aus House of Reps (lady, forget her name - I guess about 10 years ago..) explained that sex was irrelevant to the respect etc she was entitled to . but it came out wrong - like, there she is sitting in this big throne, and she comes out with ... '' I don't have any sex in this position" lol
