Tyranny

Texas has taken away workers rights in the building trades when working in 40 degree days to get a 5 minute break every 4 hours to apply sunscreen and have a drink of water.

Made me laugh cynically when a builder said that they won't treat their (mostly latino) workers like mules and will still give them the break.
I thought that if they were mules they would probably get a chance to drink more often!

Just next door there are some interesting developments regarding 2A, in that the New Mexico Governor is trying to suspend both the federal and state constitutions.

The folks ain't having it.

Yes, reading about it.
More control by the executive, less the courts and national guard can be directly controlled. Not good.
.

Israel is doing something similar.

And Hungary has got away with it.

It would not be hard for the USA to copy them.

it depends whether you're self employed or not. Admittedly it is my choice but I have worked in well above 40 degrees.
Me too also Wanye, but that was when the offspring were around and school was an important part of the lifestyle.
These days certainly still work on the hot days, but a 4am start and the knock off whistle blows at 12 noon.

There’s no better place than this thread.
