Trump 2.0

I understand it's to stop radicalisation in a lot of these poorer countries. But the US is wasting taxpayers money. Australian politicians want to take note, people are watching on to what's happening in the US.

I'd love to see a audit and strip out of our public service.

And non-for-profit organisations that receive government funding.

I know of an organisation that offers free legal services for women, their CEO resigned about 18 months ago and they still have an acting CEO who has been on compassionate leave for 6 months. The board has not started a search for a CEO, and due to lack of direction some staff called in a Union. The union called a meeting and wants everyone to sign up so that they can act. I don’t understand how a union can sort the issue, I thought it would be an issue for ASIC.
The organisation recently received a multi million dollar grant from the government.

Things like ndis and looking after at risk kids is being rorted for billions. My son is working with at risk kids. These kids get 24/7 caseworkers looking after them. He's making top money but some of these kids will end up to be a couple million $ each.
Their systems that are in place suck.

My niece worked for NDIS a few years ago, got paid to drive a client interstate to see a concert, including accommodation.

Democrats can whinge all they want. But US seriously needs to get its house in order.
True, Trump though greatly increased the debt last time and looks like doing the same this time with all the unfunded tax cuts.
I thought he was going to pay it by tariffs by he appears to be pulling back due to the other effects.

Mandate.
How much is everyone that's whinging going to give to charity?

Winding it back is one thing switching off oxygen or cutting medical treatment that results in death is another.

Meanwhile there'd be a lot of people in regional Australia who can't afford to do that.

Heck there'd be quite a few who can't afford to see a performance in their own city. I just bought a ticket a couple of days ago to see an artist who's a long way down the list in terms of fame and even that's over $90. I can afford that but there'd be plenty who can't and for any major artist you're going to pay double that or more.

As a general principle I'm fine with welfare and so on to a point but it's going beyond that if we've got people receiving things at taxpayer expense that are by no means essential and that those paying the taxes can't afford themselves.

What's happening with Ukraine?
Seems to be steady as she goes, no change to Biden’s tactics.
I was hoping for more.

I’m wondering, are you native to the USA? I ask because you seem overly concerned about US politics, compared to us Aussies.

Don’t get me wrong wrong, we do have an interest in world affairs but we don’t get obsessed with it.

We have a theory, politics and religion shouldn’t be the average discussion.

It’s served us well in.

Zero

However, we follow the USA heavily.

Look at all the trans mental gymnastics going on. It's sick.

No, we support and assist each other.

$800m Deposit paid for AUKUS to help expand the ship yard
About $368 billion to go for the subs.

It's important we are friends. I think the Pax America peace from 1945 may be over.
