Thats is the most despicable thing I've seen for a while...Hua Hin is the Kings Town, my wife and i were there a couple of years ago. That makes me feel sick...:frown:

Depends on where/what floats your boat and how much $ you have. I haven't been anywhere I haven't liked. Except to work.

Don't go to the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Austria or UK they are all dangerous shi3holes in the making.
Go to Poland and Hungary - safe and fully European.

Huh.? I have been in Belgium for nearly 3 weeks in 15 towns and have enjoyed them all and found everybody to be courteous and helpful. Always felt safe even in the lower socio economic areas. So, excuse me if I ignore your advice as we are off to Netherlands (again) then to UK (again) and then will spend a little time in France, Italy, Spain and some more you haven't mentioned. You may gather, I disagree with you completely.

Don’t live in fear is my view.

Austria, France, Germany, UK - been there and no hassles at all so don’t agree with those saying to avoid them.

One region I wouldn’t mind seeing more of is the Middle East. Only country there I’ve been to is Qatar so wouldn’t mind seeing some of the bigger ones apart from Saudi (they just seem a bit too fanatical for my liking).

Don't agree. Poland is just the new place to go for cheap stag nights/weeks. Never been to Hungary so can't comment. Never will either.

How about taking a drive through 50 cities around the world?

You can set the speed of the vehicle, street noise, music. Visit the world while at home
Just click on the city in the list on the right to see what that city is like.

You can drive in 50 cities around the world and spend as much time in any one of them while “driving”.

Pick the city of your choice from the list in the upper left. Notice how many cities have 5 story apartments for people to live in. One thing about the world is not hardly any pickup trucks in any of the cities. Havana has many old cars to observe driving. Spend some time and see the world from your computer.

We can still travel while staying home.

Hungary has become a dictatorship since you posted. Poland is heading that way. Love to know your next best country.
