Nailed it, about time, simple and to the point.
Now it is up to the people.
Now it is up to the people.
It will be interesting to see the exact wording, that will probably be the decider as to pass or fail.Recognition of prior occupation - Yes.
Special treatment in the Constitution- No.
Thats a pretty simple argument which we don't get to vote on because it's all one question.
There is a bit of skulduggery there for starters.
I'm over The Voice b/s. One Country consisting of many ethnic groups and only ONE flag.Recognition of prior occupation - Yes.
Special treatment in the Constitution- No.

Show the special treatment.Special treatment in the Constitution- No.
We have laws that apply to specific industry sectors so your idea is fundamentally flawed. One law for all.
An advisory body is not special treatment. It's like saying the Bureau of Meteorology gives scientists special treatment.
I have not seen your comments do anything but display racist tendencies.
Ths BOM serves specific regions and is no different in principle. It provides informed advice. The BOM provides a service to ALL Australian's, the voice will only serve 3% of them.
Because the Constitution does not change anyone's status, and only fools or racists believe opposite. Why is it racist to promote EQUAL treatment under the Constitution ?
On the contrary. You cannot and have never shown how the Voice does what you believe.Your posts are a great example of emotion trumping rational thought.
Literally hundreds of elements of government concentrate their attention on special purposes.
We have the copious copypatings of @JohnDe that don't cut the mustard
Respond to substance and stop your constant diversions.Yes, and departments get abolished, merged and restructured as necessary, they are not guaranteed immortality in the Constitution.
If the referendum is passed the voice will be guaranteed immortality by the Constitution. Why don't you prove that what you believe is true?
So let me show you:Thought of you when I read this, and wondered if this is another that doesn't 'cut the mustard'.
Hard to understand her ignorance here given the Voice is a mechanism for grass-roots policy and has nothing to do with "elites," and its composition will be decided by ATSI peoples. It is the more highly educated, urban Aboriginal people who will have a voice; those called elites, and many with dubious claims to being Aboriginal at all.
Why?If the referendum is passed the voice will be guaranteed immortality by the Constitution.
Disprove it.
Yes but you don't.Why?
That's what recognition does!
Do you understand anything you post?
How do you recognise ATSI people in the Constitution without naming them?Yes but you don't.
Become a primary producer of something rederrob that requires diesel fuel and then you can get the rebate.Show the special treatment.

For example, I cannot get a diesel fuel rebate, but you probably can. So much for "equality!"
You mean "one law for all" except when you are a primary producer!Become a primary producer of something rederrob that requires diesel fuel and then you can get the rebate.

What "debate"?Your egoistical debating is showing again. Professor Victoria Grieves Williams has more qualifications in the field than you could ever wish to match.
What "debate"?
Is there a reason you cannot understand how her points failed to understand what the Voice does, and how it is being proposed to work?
