The Voice

You keep ignoring the rational alternative which is a legislated Voice which would pass imo.

The option of repealing it needs to be there in case of corruption or malfeasance as with any government body.

No I haven't and have addressed this before as has Rob.

Putting the Voice into the constitution brings recognition for Aboriginals and says only that it exists nothing more nada zip.

It is an advisory body only nothing more nada zip.

How it operates is a matter for parliament same as any other arm of government there are no guide lines relating from the constitution on how that is.

The wording has been ticked off by previous high court chief justice and justices appointed by the Coalition along with a number conservative highly regarded constitution experts.

Compare that to the fear mongering posted in this thread its quite extortionary.

Solution is so simple and easy but too complicated for the Canberra bum polishers. How are their mates going to get those whopping salaries if anything that simple is done.

Well Dona they have to move the heat somewhere, anywhere but their own back yard.

You don't have to look too far back to see just how back these councils operate. When some of the North-West stations were "given" to various groups, which were profitable operations then, and then not long after run into dis-repair and run-down, even though serious dollars were there being wasted.
Another was the desert citrus orchard, promising huge benefits to the local community, but someone forgot to tell that lot they had to work at it to make it successful. Once again handouts were better as sit down money.

$1.4 billion and kids are running around barefoot.

What the hell is going on ?
I would hazard a guess that the top end of the food chain reckon that all that collective coin is theirs and not to be shared around.
Just look at the top priced 4WD's they are running around in.

Same, same in Qld, funny enough, they gave them back some land up at Cape York and they expected parks and wildlife to continue paying for maintenance while they had ownership. Can't wait to see the ugly mess that becomes of Fraser Island when they try to take ownership of it.

So some Aboriginal is going to take over Australia using an advisory body… have we reached peak fear mongering yet or is it peak stupid

That's not the problem at all, the problem is that Labor will be giving money away to 3% of the community that 1/20th of that money will ever reach the people that really need it and a good majority of them have no interest in contributing to society, in other words, they have no will of ever helping themselves, while hard-working Australians are left to rot on their own.

Basically great believers in the Cargo Cult of the Islands after WW11 and Sit Down Money with no strings attached.

"the first step in redistributing power"

"radical roots of the Communist Party"
