That's outrageous.
The issue here isn't the restaurant. Many others did take issue with a white woman opening a sushi restaurant.
It's a big taboo over in the States to profit from someone else's culture, it's like people getting fined for selling fake native American Indian art and craft, but then it's okay for Indians to sell it in their own shops. The issue here isn't the restaurant.
It's that Americans see racism as normal to the point it's expected someone doing x will be of a particular race.
Why on earth does someone's race or nationality have anything to do with their ability to run a restaurant? It's the style of food not something to do with the person who owns it or works there.
Or should I say McDonald's isn't American it's actually South Australian because if I go to the nearest one well I'm pretty sure 100% of the people working in it live in SA.
Where have we heard that before ?It's a big taboo over in the States to profit from someone else's culture, it's like people getting fined for selling fake native American Indian art and craft, but then it's okay for Indians to sell it in their own shops.
Oh yeah, do know where the welcome to country smoking tradition comes from? Let me tell you all, it's actually a native American Indian tradition. The idiots here copied it.Where have we heard that before ?
Danistan: Someone is going to get killed.
Absolutely, they should deal with it as Paul Keating did.I think too many people take the world too seriously.
White woman, woke and entitled. Think they can do whatever they want. What the hell was the woman upto? The guy seemed to be just riding by.

No one says what they are thinking anymore. How many times you would have seen that Imagine, if Morrison, Abbott or Howard, had said that.
Yet, I bet that is probably the first time, most of you have seen it.
