The lunatic left

I'd have thought pretty much everyone knew there were 365 days in a year.
She probably did know there is 365 days in a year, but as with our education system these days, 1x365 can equal anything, they don't bother teaching multiplication.

Therefore there is no conceptualisation in young people of what to expect as an outcome, that answer would have been completely acceptable to her and probably a lot of young people her age. :xyxthumbs

You're being serious there?

Schools don't teach multiplication these days?

If so then what on earth are they teaching?
We have been discussing this in the education thread, I have two grandsons live with us, as we help out their mother(our daughter)

The oldest one is now in high school and doing well, but we actually had to teach him the times table, when I realised in grade 5 he had no idea what they were.
So moving on, he is now doing great and received a B for maths in first year high school.
We are now teaching his younger brother his times tables, he is in grade 3 due to go into grade 4, at school meanwhile they are teaching him that boys can be with boys and girls can be with girls.
Basically from my interpretation, they have finally worked out Uni's have been producing teachers who teach social behaviour and flck all accedemia. :roflmao:
That's what happened about 30 years ago, when the loonies got into parliament, from a teaching background. ;)
Much the same as what happened with the trades and with nursing, through the same era.
They all became sausage machines, focused on wages and throughput, rather than quality.

The only problem is, dumbing down teaching is something that results in reduced standards on a compounding basis, that goes for teachers, nurses and tradespeople, who all must pass on their knowledge or lack thereof. 🤣

Basically the 196 genders and gaslighting them into thinking they're anything but their biological sex.

They teach division.

As we keep saying, the more people are coerced and being pushed to the 'left', the more the resentment will build and a equal and opposite sentiment will grow.
The education system, has spent the last 15 years telling kids they have rights and no one can tell them what to do or how to think, now the teachers are telling them how to think through affirmative action programmes at school and are wondering why there is pushback.

I doubt very much this is driven by an underlying hate or dislike about the Jews, I personally think it is driven by an opportune way for the kids to get at the establishment, that's what kids do when they are fed up.
Time will tell.
.

At a public, inner west high school, a year 7 student gave the Sieg Heil salute to taunt a classmate. In a high-fee eastern suburbs boys’ school, a boy in full uniform at school was videoed performing the Nazi salute. At another nearby, swastikas were drawn on younger students’ hands.

In Sydney’s north, students at Knox Grammar praised Adolf Hitler in a social media chat group.

They’re not isolated incidents. School counsellors, teachers and social media experts say the invocation of Nazi symbols and speech is a simmering problem in schools, mostly among teenage boys who are daring each other towards ever-more anti-social behaviour.

“Intolerance against one group, if left unchecked, can very quickly mutate to animosity against other groups and tear at the seams of what binds us together.”

It's interesting that New South Wales has just outlawed Nazi iconography and salutes etc.

Yet it only seems to be applied to a particular cohort.

What can we deduce from this, I wonder?

There are more Jews in Parliament than the other side.

I'm actually a little bit puzzled that I am getting pushed back on this post.

If we are to outlaw Nazi iconography and salutes, then surely it should not only apply to the extreme right wing, but also to those mentioned in @sptrawlers post #872 ?

I posit that there should be equal treatment under the law, no matter what one's political leanings, only
to be publicly castigated by our local sea captain?

Truly confused about this.

I just deduce from it, that it is kids stirring up, as kids do and the best way to get under the adults skin is to openly disregard an instruction.

A few of the kids at one of the grandkids school, were talking about turning their backs at assembly when the welcome to country was said, I just told the grandson to not get involved.

Kids are kids, people are people, the establishment has to realise it doesn't matter if 100% don't agree with them, as long as the majority do, the problem at the moment is if you don't agree you get named, shamed, abused and sometimes sacked.

That will always build resentment and trouble, there is no bending with the loony left or loony right, it is like a religion and those who don't agree will be beaten into submission.

You can even see it to a small degree on this forum, which by most standards, is very well behaved and courteous.

There is no right and wrong in politics and human relations, just varying degrees of compromise, when the compromise gets out of equilibrium social unrest follows.

One of the greatest examples of pushback, was when Allan Joyce championed the gay marriage debate and it lead to Margaret Court and Israel Folau being publicly named and shamed.

Then when Alan Joyce said he was leaving the cheers nearly brought the house down, because the public could show what they thought of him without fear of retribution, even Albo dropped him like a hot spud as is his way.

Albo has realised the left may hold the stage, but they don't hold the majority of the people and Albo is adjusting which is very smart, he needs some of the very angry majority to vote for him.
It is just the early stages of social engineering imploding IMO, rich kids flicking the bird at their woke rich parents, just what kids do :xyxthumbs

Who is the other side?

The other side would be the Muslims who are outnumbered by those of the Jewish faith in Parliament, therefore they (the Jewish members) slant the laws to suit themselves.

I don't really have any objection to the outlawing of Nazi salutes etc, but what about the waving of Hamas flags etc, that should be outlawed as well.
