@Powerup Hmmmmm Walking on eggshells and very thin ice with the Good Cap't of Ship of Fools.G'day Captain_Chaza , I really enjoy reading your thread you have made it a lot of fun to read. It's awesome that you do it in real time too, well done.
What does "HOLD on Tight--- Wet Weather Gear is in Order" mean? - Not sure, is it brace yourself for small dips but not to worry?
It reminds me of a time years ago when I was 16, I was working on a crayfish trawler. On my first week at sea, we were near Pondalowie bay pulling up craypots. The ocean waves were starting to build as we were getting closer to the rocky sea cliffs. I stumbled around the ship's deck holding on for dear life not sure what I should be doing next. All of a sudden there was loud intense shouting between the captain and 1st mate about the ship's troubled controls.
It was an experience that was terrifying for me, as I held onto the rail by the edge of the ship. In that moment I saw what looked like to me a seawall of water about to crash over the vessels deck. It seemed that we were surely to be doomed and engulf by the waves but in quick time the Captain and 1st Mate had it under control at the helm and steered us away from danger.
You need someone with experience at the helm.
Permission to come aboard Captain!

My wish is to learn from your knowledge and to find me new sea-legs Sailing the Global Exchange - The Greatest Sport of Them All.
As long as @Powerup does not ask questions , post opinion or dare "like" anyone, he should be ok with Captain Archibald Haddock (of famous "Tintin" reference https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Haddock)@Powerup Hmmmmm Walking on eggshells and very thin ice with the Good Cap't of Ship of Fools.
I guess any new crew member would e welcome up to a point, as the quality crew that did exist on board The ship of Fools has obviously been excised from the rotting tub.As long as @Powerup does not ask questions , post opinion or dare "like" anyone, he should be ok with Captain Archibald Haddock (of famous "Tintin" reference https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Haddock)
