To CALM the Volatility of the DJIA Standard & Poors designed the large Spread S&P 500 to Smooth out the Violent Nature of the Storms at Sea

This Worked to a limited effect until the Tech Boom and The Rise of the NASDAQ
The NASDAQ took no Prisoners and SWAMPED both the DOW JONES and The S&P 500
They were forced to Take Onboard the Best of the Techs for No other reason than for PURE SURVIVAL

ie: The OLD Economy merged with the NEW Economy

So much for the Lovers of History

Onto the Current Sea and Weather Conditions

It was a Good but Confusing night o Wall St on Thursday with the OLD Economy Stocks performing Best

Sailing the S&P Magnificent 500 Tall Ships -EOW --------Thur 17 Apr-------in the Deep Waters of Wall St--------One DAY at a Time
