September 2020 Stock Competition Entries!

End of another exciting week in the September Tipping Comp and only 3 trading days left to the end of the month. Visual update of all entries below.

@Garpal Gumnut still smoking in 1st place with the double lung, double heart transplant patient @Padowan now a clear second ahead of @debtfree 3rd, just ahead of @verce 4th . ?

I'm really annoyed with @Padowan, we sent flowers, cards and our best wishes and what happens as soon as the release papers are through ... comes out roaring after us and is now knocking off our cash. ????

This Week - @Padowan up 87.50% - @verce up 18.18% - @debtfree up 16.13% - @Garpal Gumnut up 10%
Today
- @explod up 14.71% - @Garpal Gumnut up 10% - @finicky up 7.69% - @access up 6.12 - @Assasin up 6.02%

Good luck for next week and enjoy your weekend everyone. :)

ICU didn’t have a pulse two weeks ago, some defibrillation and devine intervention working miracles, hoping this thing doesn’t crash and flatline before the end of the month ?

@Padowan It didn't matter even if you picked PFT again from last month, it's gone up the same % as ICU this month. When you're hot you're hot, good picking lately. ?

Is this the end of SBW?!

@verce I'm hoping it retests that BO of .22 at least on Wednesday's Close  just for you to have a great lower starting base for next month's Comp  it has nothing to do with prize money this month. :cautious:?

I must admit to being quite proud of my performance with a dart these last few months. I do feel now as Shakespeare did when he wrote this sonnet. A certain inevitability that I am "near slain". CVV was as much a surprise to me as everyone else.

O call not me to justify the wrong
That thy unkindness lays upon my heart.
Wound me not with thine eye, but with thy tongue;
Use pow’r with pow’r, and slay me not by art.
Tell me thou lov’st elsewhére; but in my sight,
Dear heart, forbear to glance thine eye aside.
What need’st thou wound with cunning when thy might
Is more than my o’er-pressed defense can bide?
Let me excuse thee: Ah, my love well knows
Her pretty looks have been mine enemies,
And therefore from my face she turns my foes,
That they elsewhére might dart their injuries.
Yet do not so, but since I am near slain,
Kill me outr’ght with looks, and rid my pain.

Looks like your speech was either drafted or moderated by @barney the bard :) .
More seriously congratulations. You deserved well.
I was intrigued to read your references from Shakespear.
I still remember my quotes from Shakespeare back early 90 while working in Kalgoorlie.
Those quotes went flat as most of my Australian speaking colleagues hardly read Shakespear and I was the man who did not speak English.
BTW still two dYs to go. So hold tight on CVV.

@debtfree I wish I was hot but alas I have never placed in the monthly comp yet, I don’t think I picked PFT last month. but would be nice to make a habit of the kind of gains ICU has offered up this month ?

Sorry @Padowan my mistake it was UMike who picked PFT, I should have looked it up in the first place.
Yes we certainly need some good gains in the run to Xmas to lift our averages for the year out of those minus figures. All the best. ?

You flatter me greatly with your intimation @Miner .. I am not worthy to be mentioned in the presence of the Bard

Yet if I be inclined,
I would certainly try
To do my best
To pass the test
Of your intimation
With my revelation.

As you can see ... The Bard I am not.

Re the Comp ... I picked SKY this month when I should have picked VML, but not complaining;)

As always, thanks @debtfree for the graphs !!

Thank you @Joe Blow and all the sponsors for the competition. I have been trying to get first place for nearly 15 years now, so I expect another 15 years will pass before I manage it again. I'll be middle aged then, 45.

I was quite anxious today and didn't visit ASF as much and relieved at 4.15pm when I checked the results. It is an important competition for regulars and also those new to ASF as I was in 2006.

Once again thanks.
