Payten better have the team prepped and ready to rock and roll next Saturday 1st home game in Townsville against the Sharkies ..

He is running out of excuses, next one the chopping block is Payten.

After Sharkies they got Brisbane in Brisbane, then the Raiders at home, then the Panthers in Sydney, then the Rabbits in Sydney ...

Tough gig.

Well played Manly you dominated.

Disappointing start to the season for you

NRL seems to be getting more popular, the tipping competition on SB has 271k starters this year already.

rcw1 would hate to be a Paramatta supporter today ... crikey worse than the Cowboys if there is ever such a thing ...

Poor poor Jason Ryles ... welcome to big league bloke

So then Labor’s weekend victory in the West Australian election must be good news for North Sydney Bears supporters. Many Queenslanders would remember the likes of Billy Moore, Gary Larson, Tony Rea, Ben Ikin and many other Queenslanders who played for Norths until their demise during the Super League war.

Before the election the NRL had talkies with the WA government about the possibility of a Western Bears team joining the NRL with a $120 million backing plus stadium and grassroots support being already on the table.

Probably plenty more negotiations yet to transpire, fingers crossed the Bears will be back .. with a new home and vengeance.

Kind regards
rcw1
