Is there any software out there that will let me enter details of my asx stocks (date purchased, purchase price, current price etc) that also has the ability to let me see a single line graph of how all my shares (total value) have fared over in a certain period (say November 07 to November 09)?

It would be nice if it could do the same for other investments (term deposits, CMT's) where I could enter weekly or monthly balances and be able to graph the results over a certain period as above.

I downloaded AceMoney Lite recently but couldn't figure out how to link it to the asx plus am not sure if it is able to do what I'm after, as above.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Tims,
O'h where do I start. There is much out there but it all comes down to personal preference. You can spend a mint on programs with all the bells and whistles but if you only want to keep it simple and not spend heaps of $$$s and time, I suggest an Excel program where you can have the data presented to you in the way you want, something easy to change and also you can add sheets for your other investments.

For me, I use
- Portfolio Manager (www.portfolioman.atspace.com) for downloads and graphs showing total investments; and
- PCharts Pro for charts of individual stocks.

As I say, works well for me and to me that's what counts.

Personal finance software

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question, but can anyone recommend a personal finance software package?
I'm just looking to track personal income and expenses and add shares at a later date. Currently I just use excel spreadsheets.
I've downloaded a trail version of Quicken but figure there must be other packages out there?
