This Thread is for all those who want to comment on Parmigannas , or Parma's , or parmies, etc rather than clogging up other threads.
What is the price of parmas these days ?This Thread is for all those who want to comment on Parmigannas , or Parma's , or parmies, etc rather than clogging up other threads.
i used the spelling from the Middle Pub in town.@Joe Blow , could you please change the title to reflect correct spelling
Parmigiana, also called parmigiana di melanzane, melanzane alla parmigiana or, in the United States, eggplant parmesan, is an Italian dish made with fried, sliced eggplant layered with Parmesan cheese and tomato sauce, then baked.
bastardised Aussie versions abound
While we are being pedantic can we talk about the butchering of the pronunciations of these words? We do manage a fair facsimile of parmigiana, so why not others?@Joe Blow , could you please change the title to reflect correct spelling

But at least its not clogging up the Economy at Street Level thread. What a schnitty thread this is...
above and beyond the call of duty, Mick.Had dinner at the middle pub last night.
Did not order a Parmi, never been a fan of deep fried breadcrumb encrusted food, had an excellent Morroccan Chicken Salad instead.
I did point out to Tony the owner that there was some discussion about his spelling on the blackboard, but I cannot print his answer for fear of being rubbed out for a few week.
Needless to say I did not push the matter.
